"Honey!" Ate Sy callled me.

Agad ko siyang nilingon at nginitian. Tagal naman nito ang usapan maagang magkikita pero anong oras na. I rolled my eyes on my sister who's walking towards me. When a familiar music caught my attention on the background. It was the band song . . . his song.

I heard whispered from the people around us in the restaurant.

"Is that the song, Steve wrote for his girlfriend?" One of them commented. "I heard they broke up and he sang that song last years concert for a thought to win the girl back."

"Oo daw, that girl was more than lucky. Hays."

"I hope they get back together, I really wish."

Dumating si ate at umupo sa harap ko ngunit busy ako sa pakikinig sa usapan sa kabilang table.

"No one knew if they get back together, but until now, Sky's waiting for her. Imagine, seven years already passed?"

"I badly want to attend on their concert this year."

"Girl, in first day their tickets are sold out. Layo pod nato."

I smiled upon their conversation, indeed they conquer many achievement in the past years. They even able to perform internationally. Their songs were constant request on TV shows and radios. I couldn't be more proud, I'll remain his number one fan. Always.

"Kumusta? Babalik ka na ulit doon?" Natatampong tanong ni ate.

Agad akong tumango sa kanya.

"Oo, nandoon ang trabaho ko, ate," sagot ko.

Nakasimangot siyang nakatingin sa'kin. Bago kinuha ang menu at nagtitingin ng mga i o-order. I just visited here in Cebu last month. Summer na kasi, and I want some fresh air.

"May sumpa ba kayong apat?" Natatawag tanong ni ate. "Kasi hanggang ngayon wala pa rin kayong mga jowa, tumatanda kayo, Honey. Hindi bumabalik ang edad natin."

Heto na naman si ate sa mga payo niya. Paano ako magkaka jowa kung siya pa rin? Kahit isang dekada na ang nakalipas.

"Are you still into that guy from Remnant Kismet? The pianist?" My sister asked.
