A/N: For reference, Tia doesn't know anything about the future because she doesn't have any memories from her past life yet.

A smile crept into Gallahan's face as he watched his daughter munch on the dessert he had bought earlier. Watching his children eat always makes his heart melt.

"Is it good?"

Florentia glanced at her father, nodding heartily in response.

"I like sweets!" Florentia exclaimed happily before continuing to devour the sweet cake.

Thump!

Gallahan placed a hand over his chest. He could feel his heart thumping loudly from his daughter's cuteness.

'Calm down, Tia is still eating.'

Gallahan resisted the urge to shower his daughter with hugs and kisses, which was really hard for him to do. Tia was such an adorable child.

Since he couldn't embrace her yet, Gallahan just caressed her head. An affectionate smile spread across his face as he patted Florentia's head. His daughter was fine, it seems. That's great.

After he was satisfied with caressing his daughter's head, Gallahan shifted his attention to his son, who was silently eating beside him as well.

His smile was instantly replaced with a frown when he saw Cale, who was only staring at the small plate of cake in front of him.

"What's wrong, Cale? Don't you like the cake?"

Upon hearing someone call him, Cale started blinking rapidly as he snapped out of his trance. He then raised his head and stared at his 'father' in a slight daze.

"No..."

"No? What does Cale want then? I will buy it for you."

"Uh.. No, no. That's not what I meant... I'm full."

Cale muttered and pushed the plate away from him.

It was the truth. Cale would never pass up an opportunity to eat something sweet, but right now he doesn't have an appetite to do so.

"Is that so..." His son nodded. Gallahan sighed as he took the dessert away from him. It was unusual for Cale not to eat dessert, as he and Florentia love sweets. But he didn't want to force his son to eat it.

Cale silently watched him as he took the cake and offered it to Florentia, whom wholeheartedly accepted it. You can never have too many sweets.

Gallahan looked back at his son and pulled him into a hug. Cale, not expecting the his actions, stiffened from the sudden embrace.

"Dad will buy you more sweets next time. Tell me what you'd like to eat, okay?"

A light chuckle escaped his lips when he heard his son mumble a response. He thought it was cute. And the way his son's ears turned red when he hugged him. Ah, he was truly blessed with adorable children.

Still embracing Cale, Gallahan peeked at the clock.

"Oh, it's almost time. I should get ready."

"What is it dad?" Tia asked, wiping her mouth with a napkin in case she made a mess while eating. Again, Gallahan found her actions quite adorable.

"I'm going to visit your grandpa today."

"Ohhh."

Earlier he met John, who told him the schedule of the visit to the Patriarch's office.

It was the third day of the week. Gallahan's father, the patriarch of the family, would always call him and his siblings to his office for a brief meeting.
