Jungkook had always been the playful and mischievous one in the family, constantly coming up with new ways to tease and prank his hyungs and unfortunately his Joonie hyung was the target this time. Namjoon, being the studious and bookish type, was always buried in his books, studying about something or delving into the depths of literature and philosophy.
One day, Jungkook decided to up his game and pull off the ultimate prank on Namjoon. He knew just how to get under his hyung's skin – by targeting his precious books. Namjoon's book collection was his pride and joy, very neatly and beautifully organised and cherished like precious gems.
Jungkook snuck into Namjoon's room while he was out at the library, carefully scanning the shelves for the perfect target. He settled on Namjoon's favourite book, a rare first edition copy of a classic novel that he had been searching for years to find.
He took it and went to his room and created an exact replica with the same cover and stuff in other books. He wrote a story that came to his mind. Everything is clearly nonsense and rubbish.
With a devilish grin, Jungkook carefully took the book off the shelf and replaced it with the fake replica he had crafted himself. It was an exact replica in every way, except for the context. With his talents in drawing he was able to pull off the cover and everything perfectly.
As Namjoon settled down to read his beloved book that night, he quickly realised that something was off. The words on the page made no sense, the characters were ridiculous, and the plot was completely nonsensical. Namjoon's confusion quickly turned to frustration as he tried to make sense of what he was reading.
"I want every human to be born as banana milk bottles soon. So banana milk won't go extinct. I want everyone to be born as bananas and milk at least, so I can mix everything together" Namjoon looked shocked at what the book said. h]His eyes almost burst out. "What!! What kind of human is this..!! Oh my god is this author a human eater.. Oh my godd!!! This is so ridiculous" Namjoon looked at the book with funny and disbelive look.
Jungkook had to bite his lip to keep from laughing out loud as he watched Namjoon's expression change from confusion to annoyance to anger. Namjoon soon gasped in realisation. "Jungkook!!! Come here you little devil"
Namjoon stormed out of his room, shouting for Jungkook to come out and explain himself.
Jungkook emerged from his hiding spot with a wide grin, giggling to himself unable to contain his laughter any longer. Namjoon's face turned red with anger and embarrassment as he realised that he had been pranked by his maknae once again.
"You little brat!" Namjoon shouted, holding up the fake book in disbelief. "Do you have any idea how long I've been searching for this rare first edition copy? And you replaced it with this... this nonsense!!!?"
Jungkook doubled over with laughter, clutching his stomach as tears streamed down his face. "I couldn't help myself, hyung!" he gasped between laughs. "You're always so serious with your books. I thought you could use a little laugh in your life!"
Namjoon couldn't help but crack a small smile at Jungkook's infectious laughter. Despite his frustration, he couldn't stay mad at his mischievous baby for long.
After calming down, Namjoon couldn't resist a small chuckle as he flipped through the fake book, shaking his head in disbelief at Jungkook's creativity. "I have to admit, this is one of the most elaborate pranks you've pulled off, Jungkook. I'll give you props for that. You even pulled off the exact cover of this book!! No one would even doubt it"
Jungkook beamed with pride at his hyung's compliment. "I am Jungkook, hyung! No one can outwit me." Jungkook flipped his non-existent hair sassily.
Namjoon rolled his eyes, but there was a fondness in his gaze as he looked at his maknae.
"Aish!!! Such a spoiled brat you are huh!!" Namjoon ruffled his hair fondly. He then took the original book from Jungkook giving the dupe to Jungkook laughing.
