Story: When she was born, a huge thunderstorm broke out, lighting clashed with earth and fires broke out on the Clans. A WolfClan queen named Ripplingpool sheltered in a oak tree that sheltered her and Thunderkit. Her mate, Heatherflight, was deputy and wasn't there to help or support her, she was on her own. Ripplingpool sheltered there for the entire storm, luckily she was able to survive the storm. But when she thought it was safe, a huge lightning bolt struck down and hit the oak, Ripplingpool saw it coming and she protected Thunderkit. The entire Clan had seen the strike, Heatherflight, Kestralstar and Gorseleaf (medicine cat) hurried over to the oak where the queen had sheltered. They were stunned to find out that Ripplingpool was dead but the unnamed kit was surviving. Heatherflight named her Thunderkit for the thunderstorm that killed her mother and destroyed WolfClan territory. Heatherflight died soon after due to sickness he had for quite a while.
