After a long time, Kim Taehyung still didn't come.
The guests were confused and started discussing.
Lim Mi Sun called Kim Taehyung many times but Kim Taehyung didn't answer the phone.
"Is the girl abandoned by her fiance?"
"Maybe. I've long heard that Kim Taehyung doesn't like the daughter of the Lim family, but the girl insisted on marrying him and asked her aunt to force him to marry her."
Lim Min Ji's face turned pale when she heard those words.
"Kim Taehyung is coming!" Some called out.
Everyone looked in the direction of Kim Taehyung when they heard the words.
Kim Taehyung was wearing a suit. His handsome face and great aura made people can't help but take a few more glances at him.
Lim Min Ji was so happy when she saw him. She directly left Lim Mi Sun behind and walked over.
"Taehyung, you're finally here. They all said that you didn't want to marry me." Lim Min Ji's eyes turned red as she spoke. Her eyes were filled with tears.
Kim Taehyung frowned and looked around.
The people who were talking suddenly quieted down.
"Sorry, I'm late," Kim Taehyung said as he walked to the stage.
Lim Min Ji was fascinated by his domineering look and followed him.
Sure enough, as long as Kang Jia's child was dead, he would abandon Kang Jia and come back to her.
A smug and vicious look flashed across her eyes.
Kim Taehyung happened to see her expression.
"Thank you all for coming to the engagement party of my son Kim Taehyung and the daughter of the Lim family, Lim Min Ji," Lim Mi Sun said to the guests when she saw Kim Taehyung coming.
She was afraid that Kim Taehyung would go back on his word, so she took action first.
Kim Taehyung frowned and looked at his mother.
He walked over, took the microphone, and looked at Lim Min Ji. Then he said to all people present, "Hello, everyone. Welcome to our engagement party. I'm sorry that I'm late. I'm sure everyone knows that this is my engagement party with Lim Min Ji, the daughter of the Lim family." Kim Taehyung paused and then looked at Lim Min Ji meaningfully.
Lim Min Ji thought that he was going to say something sweet to her.
"I won't blame him for being late. He just needs to show up," Lim Min Ji murmured shyly.
However, what Kim Taehyung said next made her astonished.
"But, I only take Lim Min Ji as my sister. I won't marry her. If it weren't for my parents forcing me, there wouldn't be such an engagement party."
As soon as he finished his words, the banquet hall was in an uproar.
Everyone was looking at Lim Min Ji and talking about her.
