It feels like I'm drowning as my body goes numb and I can't calm my breathing.
*bakugos point of view*
"I can't don't you understand I'll get in trouble" she yells. She clenches her hands and I notice her breathing change.
"Astrid?"
"No no no" she keeps muttering while hitting her head.
"Hey whats wrong" I ask but instead of an answer she just sits on the ground knees to her chest breathing harder and punching her head
"Hey" I move to where she is and grab her hands she tries to fight it but I'm stronger and I pull her hands down.
"Hey listen to me. You need to breath."
It doesn't seem like she can hear well so I pull her into a hug. Breathing loud enough that she can hear and feel. Soon I notice her breathing slow. And now she's just softly crying.
"I want to be a hero. No I need to be one. So I can protect my little sister. I need to get stronger for her" she cries out. Seeing her like this makes me feel different.
"Astrid. I want to be here for you. Let me see your phone." She hands me her phone and I hand her mine and now we have eachothers number.
"Please do not hesitate to call or text me. I'll be here to protect you" I look around and notice the sun is gone and it's now night time.
Then I remembered something
"Hey nerd you said you can also control the stars right? Can I see?"
She nods and starts using her quirk to bring the stars down. And she has them dance. Then they appear back in the sky.
"Thank you Bakugo" she says snuggling deeper in my arms.
"No problem nerd" I say with a smile.
*back to astrid*
-a few weeks later at school-
I begin to walk to school feeling a bit better. I walk into class to see bakugo yelling and Izuku
"I told you to stay out of my way Deku you damn nerd!"
I giggle and speak up
"Oh cool your jets bakugo. You don't need to go around starting fights" he looks at me and wait did I see that right? Is he blushing?
"Yea whatever" and he goes to sit down
The whole class stares at me in shock
"What?"
"Y-you told Bakugo what to do and he listened without fighting!?" Kirishima looks at me shocked
"Well theres a first for everything."
Mr Aizawa comes in and starts class.
"Alright change into your costumes and meet at the buses. We are going to the usj today for more training" we all stand and head to the locker rooms. Once dressed we all get on the bus and start the drive I sit in a seat I few spots from bakugo and Mina sits next to me. Kirishima next to Bakugo.
"You have a crush on Bakugo don't you?" Mina asks.
"What?" You keep looking at him
"Man she's so hot. But I dont think i've got a chance with her" I hear Bakugo say
"And so what if I do" I smirk. "Besides I doubt he feels the same. I'd rather stay friends then say something and risk everything"
Mina stays quiet. And finally we get there. With pro hero 13 waiting for us. She gives us an introduction and leads us inside. We see a portal open up and Mr Aizawa gets ready to fight.
"Has training already begun" Kaminari asks freaking out.
We are then told this is not training but actual villains I begin to freak out. We turn to run for the doors when we get blocked by one of the villains. Bakugo and Kirishima go to attack. Suddenly we are all separated and I begin falling from high up.
I brace myself for impact but realize someone caught me. I look to see it's Bakugo. Bakugo and I realize we are gonna have to fight. Before I have a chance theres a huge explosion and big boulders begin to fall. Wait big rocks!
"METEOR SHOWER!!" I send to the bad guys crushing them but not killing them. If anything they're just unconscious.
"That was awesome Astrid!" Kiri states while punching the air
We begin running to the warp guy to take him out. Getting to one area we see All Might struggling against this bird brain. I can't really do anything. But I was too into my thoughts to realize it coming right at me. Before I can do anything it looks as if I teleported to a different area. All Might finally beating him. Police come and after a few hours we get told we can go home.
I get home and see a note from my little sister saying she's staying with a friend for a few days. My brother never really comes home cause work and he mostly stays with his friend who lives closer to his job. I saw my mom wasn't home. Good. I did the few chores that needed to be done and went up to my room to work on homework. In the middle of it I get a call.

"Hey" I say going back to this math problem
"Homework?"
"Yea. Problem is math makes zero sense. The other classes are easier cause it's a lot of hands on, and I'm more of a visual learner."
"You know I can help right?"
"You'd do that for me?"
"Well yea. Don't want you failing classes"
I just smile. Then I hear a door slam. Mom.
"Mute now" I command hiding my phone so he can still see the room. I look at my homework hoping she doesn't come up here.
Suddenly my door slams open....
