Halldis's pov.
My heart dropped I stopped breathing. I kept screaming . I threw myself to the ground. It was all in slow motion. How could this happen. How could she just leave like that?. She's my best friend. Everyone ran upstairs. And into the bedroom. I shouted. And screamed. Jeffrey came and held me. Tyler had tears in his eyes. Shayna aria and Becky all broke down with me. We were all best friends. And now shes gone. David took her of the rope she hanged herself with. I didn't know something could be so hurting. Jeffrey held me as I collapsed. It all happened so slowly. Suddenly the ambulance was here. And they took her pale body away. A left fell out of her hand. It said " to the beautiful halldis ". I couldn't open it. I didn't want to. I didn't have the courage. I just laid on the bed crying. I blanked out.

I woke up in Jeffrey's bed. In his own house. What? How did I transfer?. Or was this all just a dream?. Jeffrey walked in.
Jeffrey: hey sweety, hope you're feeling better. Do you think you could get out of bed today?.
I looked at his dresser. It had a note on it, and my phone. That kept going off.
I reached for the note and my phone. Jeffrey crawled in bed. I saw it was same note that spencer left me.
Me: wait, Jeffrey?
Jeffrey: what baby?
Me: is spencer really.... Gone?
Jeffrey: no, she's with all of us. Just in a different spirit. She's still here.
Me: I love you. Thank you , for all this.
Jeffrey: I love you too. I'll do anything for you.
I smiled and held his hand. I decided to open the note. My heart raced. I hesitated. I put it down.
Jeffrey: come on baby, you can do this. Don't you want to know what she wants to say?. After all she is your best friend. She isn't gonna hurt you. Just please. She obviously wants you to read it. Would you not read mine?. Filled with love.
Me: well I guess.
I opened the note. The note said.
" hey halldis. If you're reading this. You probably know I'm dead. I'm really sorry. But please, do it for me. Stop cutting. Or you'll end up like me. I like that Jeffrey boy. He always finds a way to make you smile :). Never leave him. Just remember, you're beautiful. And always have been. Please don't sit in sorrow over me. I want you to live your life. And also check the envelope again. I love you so much "
I checked the envelope. It was a part of a necklace. She had one like that always on her neck, and never took it off. Wait. She said she was saving the other end for someone special. This made me so happy, I started crying. I immediately put the necklace on. Jeffrey smiled.
Jeffrey: that's really beautiful, but where's the other part?.
Me: around her neck.
Jeffrey: that's the best thing I've ever heard.
I kissed him gently on the lips and got out of bed. I put some sweatpants on and a hoodie. Then I put my hair into a messy bun.
Jeffrey: where are you going?.
Me: WE are going to explore the forest.
Jeffrey: o ok let me change.
He changed into the same set as me. But his hoodie was grey and mine was black. His sweatpants were black and mine gray. We walked out through the backyard. And into the forest. Jeffrey said he had a secret place in the woods, that he would take me to. He had his phone and I did too. We walked to see a little cute treehouse.
Jeffrey: welcome to ma crib.
He said putting up a duck-face and humming a drake song. It was funny yet I managed to find it cute. He walked me up to the treehouse, and pulled me up.inside there was this tiny bed for one and a mini refrigerator. That was plugged in this small box for electricity. He opened the refrigerator and saw a frozen pizza . He took it out.
Me: what are you doing?
Jeffrey: hungry?
Me: um sure, but how are you going to cook it?
Jeffrey: oh there's a fireplace near here. We can burn some branches and grill the pizza.
He said smiling. I walked towards him. And just laid on him. Overthinking everything was my hobby.
Jeffrey: stop overthinking!
Me: oh, well, if you say so.
I giggled. Jeffrey walked with me down the stairs of the treehouse. We found this , sort of ' camping grill '. And grilled the pizza.
Jeffrey: when we get home, we're watching a movie. It's been so long since our last cuddled.
Me: yes. I love you.
Jeffrey: thanks.
Me: JEFFREY ELI MILLER. I'm leaving.
Jeffrey : noooo baby. I was jokiiiing!.
He ran after me, tackling me and falling on top of me. Him having a double chin and his nose on mine.
Me: what a pleasant surprise.
I said giggling and kissing him. I didn't know what to do so I started playing with his hands.
Jeffrey: I LOVE YOU.
Me: JEFFREY! I'm literally in your face. Stop SCREAMING.
Jeffrey: I still love you.
Me: thanks, payback.
Jeffrey: oh.
Me: no. Stop making me feel Quilty.
Jeffrey: oh, I'm un lovable?
Me: Jeffrey , I love you . So you're lovable. I just wanna know if you're fuckable.
Jeffrey: WHAT?.
Me: AHAHAHAHAHHAHAH I WAS JOKING. OMG OMG HAHAHA.
Jeffrey: ok geez girl you scared me. Oh.
Me: Jeffrey? Why don't you cuss?
Jeffrey: because it makes no fucking sense.
Me: AHAH! You cussed.

I said smirking and slapping him lightly on the chest. Suddenly we knew..... THE PIZZA. We ran back and got the pizza. It wasn't burned . Thank god. We ate pizzaaaaaa. And then we started heading home.
