Halldis's pov
It was morning and the storm had died down. It was time for school. We had been on a vacation. I didn't really want to go to school. But I went with it. Jeffrey had already woken up. He walked into the room and handed me a letter.
" hey Halldis.
It's dad typing . I just wanted you to know that I went to work early and your lunches are in the kitchen.
I love you sweetie, bye"
I jumped out of bed and put some clothes on. I put on Jeffrey's blue flannel. And some jeans. I got downstairs and got something to eat. Then Jeffrey came downstairs and had breakfast. After about 20 minutes, we head for school.
When we were walking he stopped.
Me: why did you stop?
Jeffrey: look! There's lydia!
Me: who?
Jeffrey: she sits behind you in every class, Halldis. Don't be so selfish.
Me: oh , i didn't know. Sorry!
Jeffrey: she used to help me when I was well, not well.
Me: oh, we should totally hang out with her!
Jeffrey: well that's the thing. I think she had a crush on me, and then I met you and she totally ignored me.
Me: oh. I'm speechless really.
I started walking towards Lydia. I called her. She looked at me and then straight back to her feet. She tried walking away but I stopped her. I could feel she was anxious.
Me: no need to be anxious! It's just me!
Lydia: yeah the most popular girl in school.
She said adding tone to the "the".
Me: no, don't be silly.
Lydia: it's the truth, Halldis. Ain't nobody gonna deny it.
Me: ooh.
Lydia: I'm late for class.
Me: I'm in your class.
Lydia: so?
Me: it's in 30 minutes.
Lydia: yup, bye.
Me: oh okay, bye.
I walked back to jeffrey as lydia ran off.
Me: i don't think Lydia likes me very much.
Jeffrey: ya think?
I walked away, to school. We got in, and of course, Erik was there.
Erik: listen , halldis. I'm sorry for being such a jerk. Can you forgive me? And maybe we could get back together?
Me: in your dreams.
I said walking and grabbing Jeffrey to kiss. Erik got mad and left the class. Jeffrey looked at me with an ignored face.
Me: what'd I do?
Jeffrey: you need to stop using me to make other people jealous!
Me: oh
I walked away. I walked fast towards the abandoned part of school. I sat down on a bench. After a while i saw a girl in an old hallway. She walked over to me confident.
Girl: are you okay?
Me: OH uh yeah, just a little confused.
Girl: well, it's best that I introduce myself. My names Alison. Alison Parker.
Me: oh hi, Alison. My names halldis.
Alison: so what brought you here?
Me: my boyfriend is angry at
Me for simply shutting up my ex..
Alison: oh, wait. Who's your boyfriend?

Me: well, his names Jeffrey.
Alison: Jeffrey Eli miller?
Me: yeah that's the man.
Alison: he just transferred, right?
Me: yeah , he did.
Alison: well, i heard he was popular in his old school. He has had like 10 girlfriends. And he got in a fight and got expelled. And he was/is in the MMA's.
Me: what?! How do you know all this?
Alison: i don't know actually. I just find stuff out...
Me: wanna be friends ?
Alison: yea of course.
The bell rang and we ran to class.
I sat next to Jeffrey as usual. He took up his text book. And we started working. I didn't really enjoy the rest of the school day. But after jail time. I met up with Alison. We both walked home to mine. Jeffrey just vanished. We watched movies and everything. We made s'mores. And took pictures. Alison was so beautiful. I think she was in the model business. Well, it was late and mom let Alison stay over. We talked in bed for hours. And then we woke up. Not remembering falling asleep. I suddenly felt the urge to puke. I ran into the bathroom. I didn't feel great. But I knew this wasn't me being sick. It felt weird. But I went to school anyway. .
~ 8 days later ~
I've been on and off of "morning sickness". Alison and I are best friends. And she's constantly worrying about me. Always when I call in to school sick she comes "home" after school with chocolate or candy or something. She's the best in the world ❤️. Jeffrey had been calling and calling. But i didn't have the strength to answer. Finally when Alison came home she picked up the phone and talked to Jeffrey.
Alison: hi Jeffrey, Alison here .
Jeffrey: is halldis okay?
Alison: yeah she's fine.
Jeffrey: can I and Daniel come over?
Alison: who's Daniel?
Jeffrey: uh he's a viner and he makes YouTube videos and songs. He just started school today.
Alison: oh... Jeffrey can't y'all come after like 3 hours? She's tired and throwing up.
Jeffrey: oh, well sure. See you then!
Alison: yeah , see you then. Bye.
Jeffrey: deuces.
Alison giggled and put the phone on the nightstand. She jumped on the bed and started talking about Daniel. He was tall, had black hair and was handsome af! From her sight though. We talked and then the boys called us on skype. I answered .
Jeffrey: hey bbg. How are you?
Me: I'm fine. Thank yew.
Jeffrey: oh, halldis this is Daniel the new student.
Me: oh Ali told me all about him.
Ali blushed. Then Jeffrey whispered something to Daniel that made him smile. Alison was blushing hard. I whispered at her.
Me: you like him don't you?!!!
Ali: SHHH
ME: I KNEW IT.
Ali: shut up!
Jeffrey: hey girls, can we come over now?
Me: yeah sure.
Jeffrey: ok see you in 5.
Me: okayy byeee.
After a few minutes they arrived. Jeffrey came and kissed me.
Me: Jeffrey! You'll get infected !
Jeffrey: I don't care.
I saw Daniel staring at Alison across the room. I walked over to him.
Me: you like what you see?
Daniel: like? I love what I see.
Me: why don't you ask her out?
Daniel: a gorgeous girl like her will never go out with a guy like me!.
Me: don't be so sure.
Daniel walked over to Alison.
