~*~Bell's POV~*~

I'm finally going to be honest with myself.  I like Alex. I like him a lot. Which is why at 10:15 p.m.  i'm on facebook waiting for him to come onlineso we can chat.  God i'm such a dork!  I look back at his picture and smile he's really cute! And then I jump and almost fall out of my seat because the annoying sound of the IMing scared me!

Alex: hi beautiful

My heart skipped at that. 

Me: hey :)

Alex: I was lookin thro ur pic's y do u hide ur face....i kno it up set u at skool when i asked...but u rly r beautiful y do u hide it?

What do i do? should I tell him?

Me: um...

Alex: u can trust me. i promise not to tell anyone if u dont want me to and i might also help if u need it.

I do feel as though I can trust him.  But do I know for sure what he'll think?  And do I get my hopes up thinking that maybe, just maybe he'll be able to help me get out of this mess called my life?

Yes, yes I do.  I don't know why i feel this way about him but i feel that this is right and that he can help me.

Me: alright i'll tell u but it has to be in person.

Alex: ok that seems fair enough.  do u like the park?  oh wait can u come out now?  we could meet at the park and we could play on the swings! they're my favorite :) wat do u think?

I laughed to myself at this.  Was he really sure about going to the park at this time of  night?Wouldn't it be scary?  Wouldn't there be weirdos waiting for some Innocent person to walk by them?  But I do want to get out of this house and spend some time with him.  He seems really nice and I had already admitted to myself that I liked him a lot. 

Me: i'll be able to go to the park right now :) and the swings are my favorite as well :) see u in ten min.

Alex: great! see u then beautiful :)

I logged off and changed out of my PJ's and into a loss shirt and some jeans.  I can't believe imdoing this.  But I do need some one to talk to.  It was fun talking with the giant wolf but this will be an actual person that will talk back to me.  Not that talking with the wolf didn't help. It actually made me feel the safest i've felt in years.  And with Alex i have this feeling it will be the same but better.  With him, though he is unaware of it, I smile all the time.  And to me that's amazing cause it's felt as though i haven't smiled at all in my life.

As I was walking to the park I felt as though I was being watched.  It was creepy!  But then the wolf appread out no where scaring me but the feeling of being watch went away.  He was looking at something in the surrounding trees.  I followed his glaze and I thought I saw a figure disappearing but i thought it was just the darkness playing a trick on me.  So i shrugged it off.

I looked back at the wolf and saw that he was gone.  Hmm i wonder what that was all about.

When I got to the swings Alex was already there swing and looking as happy as I do when i'm on them.

"Hey Alex." I said when I got close to him.

~*~Alex's POV~*~

After she logged off I jumped out of my window and started to change so I could shift.  I wanted to get to her to make sure she got there safe.  It was dark after all and you never know whats out there.

I was a few feet from her when I smelled something and it wasn't all human.  The wolf in my head was going crazy knowing before I did that it was threat.  But i wasn't sure why...

I ran to her and saw it but I wasn't sure what it was.  It started to disappear once it saw me.  She saw me staring at something but it was to far for her to turly know if anything was really there.  Before she looked back to me I ran to the swings.  I shifted and changed before she could see me.  I jumped onto one of the swings and started to swing while I waited for her to join me.  Even with that weird person or whatever it was that was watching us I still smiled while I was swinging.  I don't know why but I always felt free.

"Hey Alex." I heard her say when she was near me.  With just those two words she already had my heart beating like crazy.  When I stopped swinging I got off and started to walk towards her.  Thats when I saw her playing with her hands like she was really nervous.  Does she feel as though im forcing her to tell me?  Dang it! She must think im such a jerk!

"Hi beautiful.  Thanks for coming out so late.  I hope you don't thing that i'm forcing you to tell me.  You don't have if u don't want to.  We can just swing since its both of our favorite part of the park."

She shuck her head. "I want to tell you.  I don't know why but I feel like i can trust you." When she said that I felt my heart swell so much I thought I was going a burst with happiness.

"You can trust me.  I wouldn't do anything to hurt you." I replied honestly.

She just nodded and walked towards the swings.  I didn't push her into telling me.  I didn't want to make it worse so I went to the swing next to her's and started to swing as well.

After a few minutes i noticed that she had stopped swinging so I started slow down.  When I stopped she started to talk.

"The reason I hid my face is because of my dad.   After my mom with my little sister he started to hit me.  Then after I got older he started to rape me.  When that started i blamed myself always thinking that there has to be a reason as to what he would do it to me.  That's when I started to cut.  Putting all the pain I felt into something else and watching it flow away."

She rolled up the sleeve of hersweater and pulled her hood down.  I let out a growl.  Even though I've seen them before doesn't mean I still wont get mad.  I hate seeing those bruise on her beautiful face.  And the scares are torture knowing she did those herself thinking it was her fault!

"Bell it was never your fault! your dad is just crazy!" She smiled and I continued talking. "Beautiful I have to tell you something.....
