~*~Alex's POV~*~

After I lefts Bells house I started to think.

How do I help her?  I don't know what to do.  Do I tell her she's my mate and have her move in with me? Or do I find A way to get rid of her dad?  How do I protect her without telling her who I am?  I know she'll love me know matter what.  That's what mates do.  They feel the connection and will never stop loving their other half.  But do I want to feel as though i'm forcing her and not give her a chose of loving me first just to protect her?

Yes.  Yes, I would.

But how and when do I tell her?  And how do I tell my parents?  And what if her father comes back and see her gone?  Would he call the police certain that she wouldn't tell them the truth because she is so scared of him? 

 I'll have to talk with my parents.....And the alpha.

When I got home I went straight to my parents.  I knew what I wanted to do but I needed to talk with them first...and Steven.

"Dad? Mom?"  I asked and they looked up from the books they were reading.  "I have something i want to tell you."

"Go ahead, son."  My father said and my mother nodded.

"I found my mate."

My mother squealed with happiness and almost looked as if she was going to cry.  My father flashed his beaming smile.

"But there is a problem."  My mother and father's mood shifted fast after they heard that.

"Whats the problem?"  My dad asked me after I didn't continue speaking.

"Her 'dad'," I put quotation marks next to the word because he doesn't deserve to be a dad, "beats her and rapes her.  I want her to move in with us after I tell her what I am and that she's my mate."

"Of course son. We have to make her safe." My mom said to me with a small smile.

"We must tell the alpha that our next Beta has found his mate and wants to bring her here."  My father said rather proudly.  Which made me smile, but that soon faded when I remembered I still needed to talk about protecting her from that man.

"Yes, that is exactly what I want to do.  More then anything though, I want to protect her.  What if he comes back to see her gone?  He'll call the police and I can tell she is scared of him.  Even though she wont say it.  I went to her in my wolf form.  She started to tell me everything that he's done and right then I knew she was scared.  I'm not sure what to do dad.  We must go see the alpha!" I said and I could feel the tears stinging my eyes.  I Couldn't help it.  I just let them fall where they may.  I'm not ashamed to Cry for the one I love if she is in danger.  But when it comes down to it I won't show them in front of her.  I'll be the only man she can count on.  I'll have to show her i'm not scared and that i'll protect her.

My father walked up to me and gave me another proud smile. "Son, when you put others in front of your own happiness I see that you'll be a great Beta, husband, and father someday." He said which brought a smile to my face once again. "Lets go talk with the alpha and see what he thinks would be the right way to keep her safe." And with that we started towards the woods to shift.

After I had stripped down and shifted into my I ran towards the meeting place. The pack house is actually right next to our house but the alpha like to hold meeting where they are suppose to be so they seem official.

'Ben? Alex? what bring you two here?'  He asked us in our minds.  When we're wolves the whole pack can hear us.  This is how we communicate with each other if either of us are in need of help.

'We would like to tell you that my son has found his mate, but there is a problem we need her help with.'

'That's great Alex! I'm glad u have found her.  But what is the problem you need help with? I promise I would help you with whatever you need.'

After i had told him my story and what I wanted to do, he at first agree with my father saying that I would make a great Beta standing next to his son in lead of this pack. And again a smile came across my face. Then what he said shocked me beyond anything, but it also showed me why he is alpha.

'In order to provide this child with protection from this man we must make him move without her.  There is only one way that this can be done.  We most burn their house with a girls skeleton in there.  But one that is already dead and her bones are beyond compare.  And I will have a friend that owns a company out of state offer him a job that he can't refuse.  And as for the girl you must tell her Alex. She needs to know she'll be safe here with us and with you.  She must also know that she can't leave the pack property so that her father wont see her by accident.  And one more thing Alex. You must change her. After she receives your mark she'll turn into one of us and look different.  No one will ever know what happened.' 

I stared at him with wide eyes and scared out of my mind.

'Ok alpha i will do as you say but give me sometime. She did not tell me this story in my human form.'

'Ok Alex. But do it fast. We can't risk him coming back just yet.'

'Yes, alpha.'

And with that we left

~*~Bell's POV~*~

I'm finally going to be honest with myself.  I like Alex. I like him a lot. Which is why at 10:15 p.m.  i'm on facebook waiting for him to come online so we can chat.  God i'm such a dork!  I look back at his picture and smile he's really cute! And then I jump and almost fall out of my seat because the annoying sound of the IMing scared me!

Alex: hi beautiful

My heart skipped at that. 

Me: hey :)

Alex: I was lookin thro ur pic's y do u hide ur face....i kno it up set u at skool when i asked...but u rly r beautiful y do u hide it?

What do i do? should I tell him?
