Give me your heart and your soul
And I'm breaking out

Peter sat in Wade Wilson's squat, passionately arguing with him about whether they should bother Matt with their plans. Wade had some weird delusion about them becoming a superhero trio and kicking the Avengers' asses, he kept yelling something about 'sticking to the plot'. Personally, Peter thought Wade had lost the plot. That guy was definitely bat-shit crazy.

It was a week after Peter, Wade, and Matt had first met, meaning that technically Matt's bed rest was up. Not that Peter believed for one second that Matt had spent the week resting. He'd only briefly met the kid and was already under the impression that he was incredibly stubborn. Which, Peter supposed, so was he. But he could also see reason. "Alright, alright." He eventually grumbled. "You're right, he's useful. I've never seen anyone fight like him. And he apparently has some radar hearing thing, which is valuable. Go on, call him." Peter told a crowing Wade.

Peter had to admit, their plan was kind of stupid anyway. They needed someone somewhat sensible to instruct them, and Matt seemed like the guy. They planned to gather as much information as they could on the shadowy organisation and the only way that Peter could think of to do that was using Avengers intel. Which he, Peter Parker, had full access to. Easy, right? Of course not.

First challenge being that you had to have Tony Stark level clearance to actually download, print or film any of the intel. Meaning that they'd have to all be present at the compound and each just have to try to remember what they found. Second challenge; sneaking Wade and Matt into the compound. With the amount of security at that place, it was literally impossible. So, third challenge, finding a convincing excuse to why Peter was bringing a street bum and law student back to the compound to tell Tony. Yeah, this was gonna go well.

They'd decided on an excuse; old friends visiting Peter from university. The challenge was convincing Tony Stark that he had two college aged friends who he was really close with, having never mentioned either of them before, who also knew enough about him being Spider-Man to not bat an eyelid at the fact that he was staying at the Avengers Compound. This would be fun.

Peter sat in his room at the compound, Stark computer in hand. He'd never really appreciated Tony's obsession with putting fancy ass expensive technology in every single room of the compound until now. It meant that Peter could easily keep up the pretence of catching up with old friends whilst also staying away from FRIDAY's prying eyes. Peter and the AI had an understanding that the security cameras in Peter's room at the compound contained a glitch which kept them constantly on a loop of an empty room. Tony rarely checked those cameras, preferring to check in on Peter through his AI Karen, who was loyal to a T. It was impossible (okay well highly unlikely) that Tony would realise what they were doing. At least not in time to stop them.

Wade was first to arrive, led to Peter's door by a very confused looking Sam. "Pete? Some guy here to see you?" He said, moving aside to let Wade in. Peter had to admit, Wade scrubbed up well. For a street bum. "Wade! Hey! It's so good to see you, buddy! It's been too long!" Peter said in a very forced excited tone of voice. Wade smirked. "My dear friend Peter. It's so good to see you!" He replied, and Sam shrugged before leaving them to it. As soon as Peter was sure he was out of earshot, he nodded to Wade, who took in his room. "Damn, nice crib. Guess we're just waiting for Swiss cheese now, eh?" At Peter's confused look, he broke into a giggle. "Y'know, because he's been shot?" Peter didn't appreciate that joke.

Matt felt incredibly stupid making his way through the Avengers Compound. The plan was pure insanity. So far, however, he'd had to admit that it was working. He'd been made to state his full name at the door of the compound and had been granted access by a disconnected simulated voice he assumed was the famous Stark AI, FRIDAY. The nearest people that Matt had been able to make out were all in separate rooms, taking no notice of his arrival. They must have complete trust in Tony Stark's security. So, he'd been left to make his own way around the compound, tapping his cane along the floor to keep up the pretence of complete blindness for the security cameras he could hear whirring in every corner. Hopefully Peter had taken care of the cameras for when they took the information from the Avengers Archives.
