'So warm... so comfortable...'

Annabeth woke up slowly, her steely grey eyes blinking open lazily. She didn't want to get up; she was so relaxed... and calm... and cozy--

"A-Annabeth?" A soft male voice said from next to her, and only then did she notice the muscular,tan arms that were wrapped around her protectively.

A small kiss was pressed to her cheek, and she smiled, rolling over to be met with beautiful sea green eyes staring at her.

"Percy," she grinned, remembering how they had been cuddled up, watching The Lady and the Tramp on the sofa. They must've fallen asleep.

A crooked smirk slid onto Percy's face. "Looking beautiful as always, Wise Girl," he said cheekily, smile lines crinkling around his eyes. Annabeth giggled, slowly brushing the black hair from his eyes.

"I love you Percy," she sighed happily.

"I love you too, Annie." With that, their lips met, and it was one of the most special kisses Annabeth had ever experienced.
