Advancing slowly through the bushes, the police department team heard a loud scream and sounds of a fight, as well as grunts emitted from right behind the bunch of trees that surrounded them.
"Police put your hands in the air." said Ayden's mother, brandishing her loaded gun to the man's head.
The guy frantically let go of his gun and put his hands in the air in surrender, visibly ashamed of what he was he was gonna do next.
Right when everyone thought the events of the day were over, the dude took out a knife from his jacket pocket and grabbed a hold of Ayla, putting the knife on her kneck, letting a small droplet of blood ooze out.
Luckily, one of the police officers arrived from behind the man and hit him square in the head with the cross of his gun, letting the now unconscious man fall down, head first on the ground. The sickening crack of his nose bone breaking resounded in the air.
