I gave him an odd look. I laughed fakely, starting to take off that confused look they were giving me. "A witch? Please, they only take place in fairy tales, and I'm not seven years old anymore to believe in that!" I said. I am a master at winging things. Alex started to laugh and patted me on the back a little too low. I saw Mr.LoveyDovey make a face. " By the way, you introduced me to Alex, but didn't introduce yourself." I said. He laughed, as if forgetting what Alex did but I saw hate in his eyes. "Well, my name is Robbie and you see, I'm called a player." He gave me a sad look, as if expecting me to make a comment. "No noo! Your not, I'm pretty sure." I said. That face is why he sure is a player.I thought. He gave me a mischievious grin and caught up with Alex and me. " Does she have a place to stay at Robbie?" Alex asked. "Actually, I was gonna get a cab and rent out a hotel room. Know any around here?" I  asked. Alex stood for a second. "Well, The  Pierre is around here somewhere. Lemme look up the directions on my phone quickly." He said. Maeve... can you pop up money in my purse quickly? Or a credit card full of cash? I thought. No answer. Guess she already popped it up in my purse. Aubrey, when I sent you on this mission, I already gave you that purse since its magical and things pop up.  Maeve replied. I sighed in relief just in time when Alex found the directions. " I'm supposed to turn right in an intersection street. Bloody hell, this is the wrong way!" He said, frustrated. He sighed. "How about I'll just go to a random hotel. I don't really mind." I said. Alex shook his head. "No no, hotels in Manhattan don't have tea." He said. I let out a laugh. " I don't drink tea... but oh well. I really need to go somewhere quickly." I said. We finally got to the intersection street and he turned right. "Hmm, maybe I wasn't wrong." He said and let out a laugh. The  Pierre hotel was right there. I opened my purse, found a wallet and took it out. I found my driver's license, a credit card, and I.D and a alot of 100 dollar bills. Thanks Maeve. I thought. No answer. We walked in the hotel, and it was stunning. It was all fancy, as if being in London. But something was bothering me. Why is Robbie not talking? "Robbie, you still there?" I asked. No answer. I looked aside next to Alex, but he wasn't there. Where'd he go? "Alex, Robbie isn't here." I said, holding on to his arm." It's okay, he probably is whacked." He said. I gave him a puzzled look. He sighed. "Whacked means tired. You americans don't understand my talk." He said. I playfully punched him, and he smiled. "I'll call him, since you're so worried about him." He said."While you do that, you whacker, or whatever, I'll go check in." I said. I walked towards a man up front. "Welcome to the Pierre! Over 80 years of providing service. How may I help you?" He said. I looked at his name tag, Saying Bill. " May I get a suite Please?" I said, giving him a smile. " Sure, no problem. I just need your driver's license and I.D card." Bill said. I took out my license and I.D card. He typed in everything until Alex came up to me and tapped me on the back. " i told you he was whacked. He got tired, I bet from drinking too much cider." He said. I smiled. The man gave me a card and told me which room . We both went upstairs. I got to my room and opened it. " Good Luck, an sleep well. By the way what's your name?" He asked. Maeve didn't tell me that part.
