Nagisa sighed internally at his classmates' reactions to their teacher's proclamation. Honestly this pressure was nothing compared to the threat of the world ending. If only he could have convinced Karma to become a hero with him then he would have someone on his level but that was out of the question so he chose the next best thing.

"Hi, my name is Nagisa Shiota. Nice to meet you. You can call me Nagisa" Nagisa approached the tall girl with black hair pulled back into a spiky high bun. She seemed to have figured out the teachers plans as well.

She looked down to make eye contact and showed a face of confusion at first until it warped into a face of gratitude. At first glance she was a confident young woman but in truth she seemed to have some insecurities so she was happy someone had wanted to make small talk.

"Hello Nagisa, My name is Momo Yaoyurozo. Nice to meet you as well." Momo greeted, with a smile. "You can just call me Momo though. I'm glad to see that someone else had the sense to see through sensei's logical ruse."

"Logical ruse?" Nagisa questioned, he had seen logical ruses in action this was not one. Nagisa had no doubt in his mind that his new teacher wouldn't hesitate to expel anyone who didn't show potential. "Could you explain further please?"

"Don't tell me that you believe he will expel someone this early in the semester. To get into this class one has to have sufficient potential towards the field of heroics. U.A wouldn't let such potential go to waste." Momo was almost baffled that Nagisa shrugged off the threat she was sure he had figured it out... or maybe she was just missing something.

"I agree with you there but I think that Aizawa sensei's threat is only a logical ruse if he wants it to be one." Nagisa said, trying to let the girl figure it out on her own. He knew he could have just told her but then she wouldn't learn to spot these things in the future so he just dropped a hint and waited.

It took a while for her to piece it together, her face scrunched into one of confusion for about a minute before it lit up in understanding. "So what you're saying is Aizawa sensei just wan-" Momo was cut off mid sentence as a loud buzzer went off.

"The first test of the day will be endurance. I want you to traverse around this track for as long as you can without collapsing. GO!!!" Aizawa sensei commanded. He looked towards the class expectantly with a raised eyebrow.

This was technically two tests in one. Yes it was true that this would mainly be endurance but it would also gauge how fast his students could change their focus and how effectively as well. He watched as the first student to get moving was Nagisa followed closely by the student he was talking with, Yaoyorozo, if he wasn't mistaken.

After that there was a flurry of movement as the rest of the class finally caught on to what was happening and got a move on. Towards the front of the pack Yaororozo stopped to create some sort of electric scooter. Nagisa was falling from his initial spot in first place but it seemed to be intentional.

After about thirty minutes the only people left on the track were Yaoyurozo, Nagisa, Bakugo, and kirishima. Aizawa took note however of the fact Todoroki could have kept going if he wasn't so reliant on his quirk. He only had to stop because of the hypothermia that froze over his body as he kept sliding around the track on his ice.

"Okay, you can stop now. We still have seven more tests to get through so get some water and gather in the center of the field." Aizawa said, sounding kind of annoyed, he just wanted to get this over with and it already looked like it was going to take longer than he thought.

The seated toe-touch, and sit ups went by fairly fast followed by the grip-strength test. As it looked now in Nagisa's eyes it was between Midoriya and the grape-headed pervert for the bottom spot. On the opposite end of the spectrum either Momo or the kid with the ice quirk we're gonna getthe top while he was gonna end up in 6th place.
