— Noah, for what did you ask for my help? — Cross asks Noah curiously.

  "He is stronger enought to kill me without sweat , not needing my help for anything but he gave me the opportunity to get out of that place and not be in debt with him"

  Cross thinks about the opportunity Noah gave him when he took him out of his old white AU.

—Well...I'll only say when we finish exploring the AU's you want, you have the right not to want to make my request, because I don't want to force you to do it but you'll have to do something for me in exchange get out of here.

—It's okay, if it's something I really can't do, I really wouldn't do it even if you threatened me.

[Great way of saying you're worthless Cross.]

—Shut up X.
I roll my eyes but then I'm surprised when Noah smiles.

—I'm glad to hear that.  But don't worry, it's not that difficult but rather strange... you'll know when the time comes.

[Look Cross, at least he can pretend he didn't see you talking to yourself]

I look at X annoyed and then we turn to face Noah.

  He couldn't stand being in that white void anymore just having X as a companion after Ink abandoned him.  He was already thinking about the possibility that X was right but Noah showed up and he stopped thinking about his old AU.

  Noah showed him several AU's, bad, good and fantastic.  He showed me both sides of AU's, the side that Ink created and the side that the original creators created.

  Cross marveled at how many AU's he got to see, even though he knew what Noah was doing to him wasn't free and when he stop he was going to have to return the favor.

  Noah says that the AU's are beautiful and at the same time scary, in each one of them there is a story that you will never know just by reading her name, Cross understood that it was not just him who had the problem of the AU disappearing and being only the anything.

  He was glad he persisted in not making X's plan no matter how much X told him about his powers.

  He decided that he would only use them for good.

  He still remembers when Noah told him he wouldn't be alone anymore.

  Cross and Noah got along great these 8 days, they played around a few AU's, talked a lot about the multiverse and obviously about the balances and Ink, and about Noah adopting a family.

  The day has finally come when Noah will tell Cross why he helped him.

*Sigh
Noah sighs

— Looks like I don't have time anymore — Noah says with a little difficulty.

  These days he seems to have some kind of problems but he kept diverting the subject, so Cross thought that maybe it's some kind of illness that makes him act that way but when he said that sentence it seemed like Noah would never appear in front of him again.

  Cross gets up from the floor quickly surprised by what was said and faces Noah, who was already on his feet.

  — What happened?! — Cross asks worriedly.

  "Even though he acted like he was in pain at times, he never said it was a really bad thing."

  Cross's eyes get more serious looking at Noah.
