"I want us to be friends."

Rozien was shocked. Perplexed as to why the Prince of Detraxil Kingdom wants to be his friend. He never had a friend aside from Karina, and he only met Karina three years ago. He also haven't told her everything about him, specially his secret.

"I want us to be friends. I want to know more about you. I know that you're King Ruther's son but aside that, I don't know anything about you." Carlein reasoned out.

"And why do you want to know more about me?" Rozien asked, raising his right eyebrow a little.

He looks adorable. Carlein thought, he wants to squeeze his cheek but he kept his composure.

"i just want to discover more about you. And even if you decline it, I will still latch myself onto you, to know more about you," Carlein smirked, folding his arms above his chest.

Rozien sighed, he can't do anything about it. Prince Carlein made sure that whatever his decision is, Carlein will still stick around him. He looks at Prince Carlein in the eye, observing him.

Maybe he can trust him.

Maybe the idea of making friends with the other Prince is not bad at all.

"Fine," he finally accepted Carlein's offer.

"Actually, I have something for you." Carlein turned to get the chocolates inside the small bag he brought with him. He offered it to Rozien.

"What's this?" Rozien curiously asked while grabbing the small bag.

He opened the bag and found out that there are chocolates inside.

Carlein's smile grew wider when he noticed that Prince Rozien is happy. He felt his heart thump in speed as he saw Rozien's lips curl into a delighted smile. His heart thump's triple in speed when Rozien's happy silver eyes looked at him.

"Thank you for this! It's almost been years since the last time I tasted chocolates!" Rozien gleefully said.

The last time he tasted chocolates was six years ago. Lady Beatrice, doesn't bring him chocolates after that time because he tends to eat a lot of it and Lady Beatrice doesn't want him to break his teeth.

"I'm glad you liked it," automatically, Carlein's hands ruffles Rozien's dark fluffy hair.

It's so soft.

His eyes landed on Rozien's questioning eyes. As realization hits him, he hastily removed his hand from Rozien's hair.

Carlein faked coughed, "I-i'm sorry, I'm just carried away." He averted his eyes from Rozien.

Rozien mentally laughed when he saw Carlein's cheeks turned red.

"Anyway, I'll be going back to my room. I need to rest and prepare for tonight."

"What about tonight? Are you going out tonight?" Carlein knows that Rozien sneaks every night but he wants to know where he'll be going for tonight.

"This month, our Kingdom celebrates the lantern festival wherein we get to see different designs of lanterns. From the simplest to extravagant ones. There are also contests held in the city." Rozien muses, remembering all the happy times he celebrated it from sneaking out. He spend his past two years with Karina and suddenly he got sad because Karina wasn't here in this year's festival. She's with her family on a province visiting their family farm.

"Can I go with you?", Carlein suddenly asked. Hoping that Rozien would let him but even if not, he will still follow him.

Contemplating wether he will let him go with him or not, Rozien putted his right hand below his chin, thinking carefully. It's not a big deal if he'll let the Prince of Detraxil Kingdom go with him. He's his new friend anyway.
