CHAPTER 2: BUSINESS CONFERENCE

JENNIE POV

"What should I wear for tonight?" I smirk while looking through my walk-in closet. Me and mom were invited for a business conference and this is a big event for us, especially to my mother. I took sometime and took out a Chanel sleeveless crop-top and a mini skirt to be paired with. After I dress up, I sprayed some Chanel perfume and made my way downstairs, seeing mom wearing her signature colored formal dress which is red

"Oh you're here" She seriously greeted me as she hands me a gun. I frown and just look at the gun "I thought---"

"Hush! Just hide it dear~ Anything can happen in a party" She coldly stated "I have my knife mom~" I coldly answered her then roll my eyes. I quickly walk away from her when she shouted "KIM JENNIE!" I turn and look at her giving me a death glare that has no effect on me already. I roll my eyes again and take my gun from her

"I won't be around you all the time and we can't bring our bodyguards this time" Mom grabs her  50 million dollar bag and grips my arm "No flirting and no boys for tonight Ruby Jane" Mom stated coldly and flips her hair before heading out

"No boys for tonight Ruby Jane" I roll my eyes as I imitate her "What does she think of me?! Letting myself get laid by those gross fatty bodies?!" I flip my hair and made my way towards the car they prepared for me and mom, we're going to a business conference prepared by WMO

"Not all boys are fatty youngmaster" Jungkook talk all of a sudden "Are you questioning on how I see them Jeon?" I coldly ask and raise my eyebrows

"A-ani~ youngmaster~"

"Good! You know I don't like boys~ They're disgusting" I scoffs and hand him the car keys "Well except for you since we're friends"

"Thank you young-"

"You know that you should call me Jennie by this time" I cut him off "I'll see you at the venue Jungkook"

"Yes Jennie, I'll see you there"

ROSE POV

"Aish!" I groan in annoyance when cameras flash as I came out of my Tesla, I look around and give my best smile. I can't ruin my reputation because I didn't smile. I'm here now at a hotel to attend a business conference prepared by grandpa. The world knows him as one of the richest men in the world and not by the most powerful mafia in the world. We mafia's are invited through a WMO invitation but for others, they're invited by a different name made by grandpa

"Ms. Park! It's good to see you!" Mr. Lee, grandpa's secretary in his company greeted me "Is it only you again Ms. Park?" 

"No, I have someone with me today" I said while smiling at the cameras and seconds later some cameras when away from me as mom gets out of the car, flashing her smile just like mine and grabbing everyone's attention

"Mrs. Park?!"

"Su ryeon!"

"Ms. Su ryeon!"

"Mrs. Park!"

"Mrs. Park! It's finally good to see you!" I watch Mr. Lee bows and kiss mom's hand

"Mom has a jetlag since she just arrive this morning from Australia" I talk while posing for the camera "Oh?" I saw Mr. Lee nod at my peripheral vision. Still posing for the cameras with mom, they all turn away from us when someone screamed

"LOOK! IT'S JENNIE KIM!"

"Jennie!"

"Ms. Kim!"
