Chapter one - the school.

Ash's pov.
As the trees blew in the wind, I walked my hair blowing with the wind also. I went off to find the bus stop. Clouds hid the sun making it darker. Soon, it began to rain heavily. The rain falling onto the floor. I ran under shelter, and took a seat. I pulled my phone out to check the time, 7:20. We had 10 minutes until the next bus. I sighed. I felt a pull at my arm.

'Hey!' Someone's voice called out for me. There I saw a pink haired, blue eyes and wearing my uniform person. It was Sae Yoong.
'Hello Sae.' I welcomed her. She smiled and took a seat next to me. She pulled out her phone and groaned. I looked at her concerned. As she never groaned. I took a slight second to

'Ash...' Sae then asked. I turned to her.
'Yeah?' I replied. She looked at me dead in the eyes,
'Why do you wear a mask?' She asked. She looked confused. And did puppy dog eyes. Hoping I'd tell her. I couldn't really. It was rather personal. We sat in silence and soon. Water sprayed

onto me from the outside. 'It's. Personal.' I avoided eye contact with her.
'Ohh. Sorry for asking!' She got off her seat and hugged me. I smiled.
'It's alright, Sae. You really didn't know,' I told her. The rest of the wait was rather
silent. Soon, the bus pulled up. I went in and saw. Hannah. She was sitting at the window seat.

2 places remained next to her. I sat down in the middle, Sae sat next to me.
'Oh hey guys! Didn't see you there.' Hannah looked at us. And smiled. Hannah has black silky hair with brown eyes and the uniform. She is dark skinned and one of the couple people.
The girls began their girl talk. And I was on my phone. We were heading somewhere far as the

school is. Meaning they have dorms. I sat in the middle seat or a bed. With a suitcase beside me. A long table in front of us. And a charger plug. The girls had their sides. And a big window was for them. We will be here until around 11. Then we'll be having one class and then lunch. It seemed pretty chill. Outside, the trees blew and the raindrops raced. I asked Hannah if we could

switch seats. She agreed. And I moved my things. I looked outside as we pass the field. With sheep running around. I turned to my phone. Started scrolling. Until I came across a video I was watching. I continued watching until we finally were allowed to eat. Breakfast came. It was nome over then oatmeal.. yay.. I took a spoon and ate the food. It was good. Pretty good.

Time passed till it was finally off time. The reason they have beds is because it can go all the way to the end of the place. Which takes hours! We got off. Holding our cases. I blew my gum. And we walked in the building. 'Class.. 1A..' I muttered looking for the class. I ended up finding the door. Class 1A, Miss Black. I shrugged and walked into the room. There was a chalkboard at the

front. And seats. 'Ah! Welcome!' She smiled at me. I was startled at her sudden appearance.
'Ah! Oh hello.' I screamed. I was rather surprised. That my hair went all into my mask. And I had to move it. 'You must be.. Gregory!' She asked. I shook my head.
'Sorry but I'm Ash.' I told her. And bowed. I walked to a seat near the window and waited.

Class was boring. All we learnt about was boring maths we learnt in like, second grade. I was so bored. My hand was on my mask, till the bell rang. 'Dismissed! Have a lovely lunch!' The teacher smiled. We ran out of class and to the hall. The smell of delicious sushi filled my nostrils. I sat next to Sae and Hannah, eating the yummy, delicious food. Sushi..

We stuffed our mouths with sushi. When we were about to leave. The alarms buzzed.
'WARNING STUDENTS! ZOMBIES HAVE INVADED THE SCHOOL! HEAD TO SHELTER IMMEDIATELY!' The intercom told us. Alarms flashed. Our team went outside. We were met with our class.

'We must find shelter!' I told them. They nodded. But we were still in the school. We had to leave. Everything was locked by the zombies, we were being chased!
'RUNN!' I screamed and ran into another direction, we needed a hammer, wrench and a lock. Then we could leave this.. place. I ran into a wrench sitting on the table. For someone to snatch.

So I did. And took off with it to the exit. I used the wrench and ran back into the school. There was this area to wrench the lasers off. So I did. I found an orange key! I took the key and sprinted to the place near the exit. Hannah was with me. We unlocked it. The room gave us chills. But we had to get inside, so we did. We went. She found one set of cogs. I found the other.

So we pushed the cogs in. And the well gave us the lock! I took the key. And dashed to the exit.
'Where's the hammer!?' Gregory howled at Sae.
'I-I'm sorry! I lost it when I was running!' She cried. Gregory was about to slap her when I slapped him in the face. He held his cheek in pain where it was redding up. I never snapped.

'YOU IDIOT! YOU IDIOT! SHE WAS RUNNING TO SAVE HER OWN LIFE! HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF YOU WERE CHASED BY ZOMBIES TRYING TO END YOU! THEN GET SHOUTED AT FOR LIVING!' I screamed at him. And punched him again. They were all shocked. I never snapped.. never.. snapped?

'I-I'm sorry Sae.' He apologised to Sae Yoong. I grinned.
'Good Gregory.' I grinned. Hannah came with Penny, Penny found the hammer and we could finally leave. So she did. She got rid of the boards. And I unlocked the door. We ran out. To find the bus.

'What a weird encounter. Such silly others!' I was getting more breath.
'It's real! Idiot! Didn't you see!' Sae told me. She took her phone out and showed me. A zombie biting someone! Then they became zombie like.

'Let's just go! Find shelter!' I spat out and ran off, the others followed me.
We ran into a building. Perfect shelter!
