Chapter 16- Levy & Gajeel

~Levy's POV~

"Come on, Shrimp!" Gajeel ordered me

I felt fed up with Gajeel today he keeps calling me shrimp or tiny.

"Shrimp?" he asked

"Alright" i snapped back

We walked along the beach until.

"Gajeel" a voice rang out

"Rogue?" he answered as a man and a cat in a frog outfit ran up to him.

"so you're Levy? Rogue asked me

"yes i am" i answered crossing my arms

Rogue raised his eyebrows at Gajeel and grinned. "you got a cutie here" he said

"you talkin' bout Shrimp?" he asked "we're not together"

An arkward silence approached us quickly until Rogue broke the silence

"sorry" he replied scratching the back of his neck.

"Fro thinks so too" Frosch said smiling.

"it's no big problem" Gajeel replied placing his arm on my head.

"yeah it's no big deal" i said.

By now Gajeel was leaning on me for support but to be honest i wasn't embarrassed that much.

Lucy was getting chased by Natsu in the distance then they suddenly came running up to us with Sting and Lector following them.

"Levy-chan" Lucy screamed running up to me

"what's wrong Lu-chan?" i asked concerned

Lucy pelted to me and hid behind me whilst Natsu came running to us.

He ran around me to get to lucy but she also ran around me.

I just watched them a little confused. I stepped back into the shallow part of the water. Suddenly Natsu grabbed Lucy by the waist and pulled her to the deep part of the ocean, she struggled to try to get out of his grip but it was useless.

"here we go! German Suplex!" Natsu shouted jumping back first into the water and pulling Lucy down with him.

"They llliiiike eachother" i heard Happy say as he flew over to Natsu and Lucy.

"we better see if she's okay" Sting said whilst he ran off with Letor following him.

"Yikes, you have some weird friends, Shrimp" Gajeel said

"ahahah they're your friends too" I said a little annoyed.

"what, Salamander?" Gajeel snorted "in your dreams" He then turned back to Rogue and they had a super long conversation whilst i was just stood there bored out of my mind.

"right i'm going" i said starting to walk off

"hey wait" i heard Gajeel say

I kept on walking but then i felt a hand wrap around my wrist. I turned to see Gajeel right behind me and his right hand extended out towards me. I tried to release myself from his grip but it didn't work.

"Let go of me" i said my voice now harsh

"Come on just stay here" he pleaded

"no" i replied "just get off of me" i yelled

Why was my heart beating so fast i don't understand it's only Gajeel and why am i wanting to leave and more importantly why does he want me to stay?

Gajeel grunted then let go of me so i started walking off but he followed me

"what do you think you are doing?" i asked him, turning around.

He kept on walking forward as he did so i walked back until my back was pressed against the sedimentary rock.

He suddenly stopped "you got a little something there" he said pointing to my cheek.

"where?" i asked touching my cheek

Gajeel leaned closer to my face " oh wait it's right..."

He kissed me passionately on the lip and it lasted about three seconds before he pulled away "There" he said smirking.

I couldn't help but smile back I never knew that someone like him could love someone like me.
