Chapter 22- I just can't hold back anymore

~Natsu's POV~

This is the last day of the holiday :( And today i have made my decision today i'm going to confess, i can't hold back any longer. Lucy...

"Today we are going to the pool, then finally a celebration on the beach" Makarov roared through the microphone. My perfect chance!

After we all disassembled i ran to gramps..

"GRAMPS!" I yelled to the old man

"yes brat?" he asked

"can i make a surprise at the celebration?" i asked him

"whatever for?" he asked me

"that's a secret" i replied tapping my nose.

"only you on stage?" he asked me

"no can luce come on stage too, just don't tell her till i call her name!" i shrieked.

"okay" gramps said "it better be worthwhile" he said.

"don't worry it will" i said then i ran to catch everyone else up, who had ran to go to the pool.

"natsu where did you go?" Lucy's voice rang out.

"just went to talk to gramps" I replied smiling at her.

"I see, why are you smiling at me though?" She asked me.

"no reason" I replied looking away with a visible blush on my cheeks.

She shrugged it off and started to talk to Erza about strawberry cake. I sweatdropped and whilst we were walking i couldn't take my eyes off of lucy. I can't wait till tonight!

We finally got to the pool/amusement park, it was incredible, i started running around like a lunatic.

"Natsu-san, don't run!" wendy warned me but i took no notice. As i was running i saw the 'love, love slide' here's my chance! I ran up to it, to see lucy sitting on a chair at the side of the opening of the slide. i smiled as i walked over to her.

"oh hi nat-" she didn't get to finish my name before i grabbed her hand and pulled her off of the seat and dragged her over to the opening. "wha-" again she didn't get to finish her sentence because i jumped onto the slide pulling her with me. She screamed because she didn't expect it and clung onto me.

~Wendy's POV~

"Carla can we go to-" i was about to ask carla if she wanted to go to the aquarium when i saw natsu drag lucy onto the 'love, love slide'. I heard lucy scream instantly and she clung onto natsu.

"what wendy?" carla asked but then looked to where i was looking. "good grief!" she exclaimed "i wouldn't expect natsu to do such a thing" she claimed.

"They llllliiiiiiike eachother" happy rolled his tongue. "Carla, do you want to go on the slide with me?" he then asked with love hearts in his eyes.

"hphhmm i guess" carla responded.

"NaLu!" Mira screamed looking up. Me, happy and carla sweatdropped.

"NaLu? i asked

"Natsu and Lucy duh!" mira squieled happily.
