-SUMMER BREAK HAD JUST STARTED.
Exams were over, freedom was here at last. Your friend Yoimiya, had invited you to her family's annual firework festival. Of course you agreed, you loved the sight of explosions of colour in the midnight sky, it made the whole world seem more alive and awake.

And of course Yoimiya had invited nearly everyone in your class. From the emo Scarmouche to the nerdy Zhongli. Yoimiya was popular as hell. She was energetic and fun, she tried to be friends with everyone and she was successful.

Tonight was the summer festival, you had spent the day in your apartment after helping yoimiya plan out her part of the fireworks until like 3.A.M in the morning.

You were bored out of your mind, there was nothing to watch, Minecraft had got boring and those aesthetic Tik-tocks of people going out with friends and having picnics made you want to go outside.

You pulled yourself off from the couch and slipped on your shoes. Grabbing the keys from a shelf, you opened the door only to be greeted with a little kid waiting outside.

"Klee?" You asked, her red eyes had lost their usual spark, they were now glistening with fear and tears. You picked her up and held her.

"A-albedos gone! I can't find him!" She exclaimed, burying her head in the crook of your neck, you felt cold water hit your skin.

"Woah, don't cry! We're gonna find him!" The problem was when Klee started crying, she wouldn't stop. At least, not until you gave her something to drink and made her calm down.

You unlocked the door again and sat Klee down on the couch. You gave her some strawberry milk tea and she sniffed gratefully. You wiped the tears from her face and gave her a tissue.

"So, where did you last see him?" You asked, Klee coughed a bit and then she finally spoke.

"At the market, we were buying ice cream for the firework festival." She said. "Then Albedo went somewhere and I couldn't find him!" She cried, she took a gulp of her strawberry milk.

"Should we go and find him? Let's check your apartment then we'll go out," you suggested and Klee nodded. She gave you her empty glass and went to put her shoes on again.

After you had washed her dish, you grabbed your key again and put in your shoes. Klee grabbed your hand and you both walked the short distance to Albedos apartment.

You knocked the door.

No answer.

You knocked again.

Still no answer.

You decided to try the handle. Surprisingly it was unlocked, it was nicely decorated with pictures of Klee and Albedo on the walls. He looked so pretty, so beautiful, you couldn't believe you hadn't really ever talked to him.
