SUMMER NIGHTS [albedo]

-THE FOLLOWING DAY YOU WENT TO CHECK ON ALBEDO.
You were worried about him, in all the years you had been in the same school, you had always seen him. And apparently it wasn't like him to get sick.

You knocked on his apartment door and waited for someone to open. You waited about 5 minutes until someone came.

"Y/n! I thought you were the scary postman, quick come inside before he thinks that we're home and gives us our package." Klee rushed you inside and rubbed her tummy.

"Can you make me some food please? Albedo is getting better but he still doesn't look well," she explained.

"Of course I can make you some food," you took off your shoes and went to the kitchen. "What would you like?"

"Hm..a cheese sandwich please!" She answered, you nodded and made it for her, you even cut it diagonally and in quarters.

You made some miso soup for Albedo and brewed some tea for him, you set it out on a tray and went to his room.

You knocked on his door, if he replied he was awake and if he didn't he was asleep.

"Come in," a weak voice said, you felt your heart break when you heard him speak.

You opened the door and saw a sick albedo with a blanket around him and a book in his hand.

"Hello..y/n?!" He said sleepily, he was surprised to see you, after all he didn't expect you to care about his health.

"Oh my god. Albedo, how do you let yourself get like this?" You asked, pulling out his desk chair and placing the food in his bedside table.

"Um.. don't know, I get sick then I don't realise," he said. You felt his forehead and he was really warm.

"I'll get you a cold tissue, stay here," you ran out of the room to get his tissue when he took a hold of his water and spilt it on accident. He tried to think of ways to hide it before you came back but he was too late.

"Here," you said, putting the cold tissue on his forehead, they didn't have any compresses so he had to deal with that.

Albedo was hoping you didn't notice the tea stain on his t-shirt but you did. You sighed and he blushed very hard when he saw you go to his closet to get him new pyjamas.

"No, it's okay, I'll stay in these!" He really didn't want to move, you thought he was silly for saying that.

"Yeah, you're really going to stay in something that's going to get really sticky when it dries." You deadpanned, you couldn't be mad at him though. He was sick after all.

You handed him his clothes and he started to take off his shirt. You noticed this and your face went red.

"Huh? Is something wrong?" He asked, it seemed like he was either really dense or he needed to get to a hospital ASAP.

"Um..I-..no!" You said as you left the room, "tell me when your finished changing!"

Poor Albedo was really confused and he just wanted you to keep him company. He called you back in and you sat down on his desk chair.

"I brought you some food, here," you handed him a spoon and the bowl of miso soup you had prepared. "Don't spill it." You said, making him laugh.

"I won't, don't worry," he took a spoon of his miso soup and his eyes widened. "Y/n, this is so good!" You blushed again at his statement.

"Thank you, I've been trying to get better at cooking," you mumbled. "Is it okay if I stay here?"

Albedo nodded his head, he was okay if you just sat near him. You started to talk about all the dishes your friend, Xiangling, and you had prepared. he found it funny when you told him she had but a ghost pepper in Chongyuns food.

"And then Chongyun gets up and starts chasing her around the cafeteria, I'm Pretty sure I asked you for you had seen them.." you trailed off, then you looked at albedo who was dozing off.

"Goodnight, y/n.." he barely got the words out of his moth before falling asleep.

"Rest well, Albedo. Sweet dreams." You brushed hair out of his face, you smiled at him. He looked so cute.

What were you saying?! You shook your head, trying to get the thoughts out of your head. You were supposed to like kaeya!

Well now you didn't. Obviously.

You checked on Klee to see if she was still sleeping and left. You ran into your apartment and flung yourself onto your bed.

WHY AM I LIKE THIS?!?!?!? OMGOMGOMG HE WAS SO CUTE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!! BRO I LIKE HIS BEST FRIEND? do i?

You stopped to ponder about your answer. But it seemed obvious, you liked Albedo. All of that daydreaming sprang on Kaeya was useless. It really seemed like he just looked at you like a little sister, you were fine with that.

You heard a notification sound on your phone. To your surprise it was him.
