Chapter 4

Eirian POV

Tahimik akong kumain sa desk ko habang nag babasa ng files at gumagawa ng report sa computer ko ng umilaw nanaman ang nasa harapan ko kaya napa bugtong hininga ako

Day 2 ko palanh sa trabaho pero gusto kona mag resign sakanya...

~FLASHBACK~

"What's my schedule?" Tanong neto kaya nilabas ko ang mga schedule nya at pinakita sakanya

"You have a meeting with a-" hindi nya nanaman ako pinatapos

"Cancel it" pangunguna neto

"Pero—" he glared at me kaya hindi na ako sumagot

"You also have a lunch meeting with ms—"

"Tell her to move it some other time" pangunguna nanaman neto kaya tumango nalang ako

"What else?" Tanong neto

"You have to check the pieces na bagong dating po" sagot ko at inabot sakanya ang files ng mga bagong dating

"And?"

"You're free the rest of the day po, pero sabi po ni—"

"Drop the 'opo' and 'po'" tumango nalang ako

I cleared my throat before continuing

"Ang sabi ni mang banny, kung may panahon daw kayo, paki check narin ung exhibit room, para sa exhibit next two weeks" i said kaya tumango ito

"About that exhibit, what's the plan?" Tanong neto kaya I pulled out another file

Kulang nalang pabahain kona ng files ang lamesa nya

"The artists want the  main point to be understandable for people who don't know anything about art, and to share the importance of awareness of each mental health, I have set a meeting with two of our artists, the first one..." i leaned a little closer to him to flip the files in his hand

Kumunot naman ang noo neto at tinignan ang picture

"This is trash" commento neto kaya napakunot ang noo ko

How dare he...

As long as it has a deep meaning it's art! It's a masterpiece

"This is the series of art she wanted to show, it was inspired by her late mother who suffered from post traumatic disorder and anxiy" I explained kaya pasimple itong umubo at labag sa loob na tumango

"And the second one is..." i flip the page again and showed him a picture

"It just a broken wall.." commento nanaman neto

"It represents the abusive anger issue of the artist he have suffered before he discovered art and it can also be interpreted as the human or emotional wall breaking down" i explained again

"Again The theme of the art is about importance of mental health awareness, there are a lot of art pieces. And the art that you need to check later may look trash but they all have meanings and story to tell" i said at lumayo na

"Fine" maikling sagot neto

"You may leave now" dagdag neto kaya di na ako nag sayang oa ng pagkakataon at mabilid na lumayas ng office nya

How dare he call it trash, museum CEO/ Director sya pero ganon ganon nalang sya mag comment sa mga artworks

FORWARD...

"This?" He pointed at the art kaya tumango kami ni mam rose

"The painting is fading.." commento nanaman neto

"It represents dementia sir draco, the fading effect shows the effect of an fading memory" i explained

"And this?" He stoped in front of a blank black paintng

"Represents the fear of dark, the author said if you look close enough you will make out the face of your past.." i explained again

"Face of your past?" Tanong neto

Hindi ko rin gets kaya tumingin ako kay mam rose

"I think it's the fear from the past" sagot ni mam tose kaya tumango kaming dalawa ni sir draco

On my first day i can tell that he knows only a little about arts...

And that he is very rude, just like how media described him

~END OF FLASHBACK~

Hinilot ko ang sentido ko saka niligpit ang lunch box ko bago pumunta ng office nya

"Order me some lunch" utos neto kaya tumango nalang ako at inorder ang order nya kahapon

"And also, ikaw nalang ang pumunta sa artist next week, I'm too tired to meet them" utos neto kaya tumango nalang uli ako

"What? Na pipi kana?" Tanong neto kaya umiling ako

"Masusunod lahat ng utos" sagot ko habang tinatago ang inis ko bago lumabas ng office neto saka sinipa sipa ang hangin

Kulamin ko kaya to ngayon?! Ang daming utos tss

I waited for his order to arrive at the lobby saka ito diniliver sakanya

"It's already cold" reklamo neto saka dinira ang pagkain

"And it has garlic, next time don't order anything with garlic" reklamo neto saka tinapon ito sa trash can nya at uminom ng tubig

That's food waste... at yan din ing order nya kahapon eh

Ang arte

"What?" Iritadong tanong neto, kaya agad akong umiling

"Nothing... I'll take my leave now" nakangiting paalam ko at umalis ng office nya saka bumalik sa station ko

He's unbelievable. Walang modo at di marunong mag Appreciate ng pagkain

"Darling, may copy ka ng record sa ..." i looked at miss kim eye, record ng exhibit

I handed her the folder kaya nagulat ito peor ngumiti lang ako dito kaya wala na syang sinabi at nag thumbs up nalang bago umalis

I leaned back to my seat and sigh

Muntik naman akong mapatalon sa upuan ko ng mag ring ang telephone sa table ko kaya agad ko itong sinagot

"Hello" formal kong pag sagot

"Hi, I would like to have a word with your boss, tell him it's urgent and I'll make a scandalous act in his museum if he doesn't respond to my calls" demand ng babaeng kausap ko sa kabilang telepono na halatang naiinis kaya palihim akong natawa

"Alright mam, I'll line you to mr draco" mahinahong sagot ko at pinindot ang line ni sir draco saka nagmamadaling pumunta sa office nya at kumatok

"What?" Cool Sagot neto

I pointed the telephone next to him kaya tinitigan nya lang ito at tinaasan ako ng isang kilay

"Gusto ka daw makausap, urgent daw" i said kaya tumango ito at sumenyas na lumabas na ako kaya agad akong lumayas at bumalik sa station ko

I want this day to end already...
