[Everything is spoken in English in English lessons. This is just for the idea although everything is typed in English, mostly to do with how the voices sound in each language]
Nayeon's POV
I was sitting at my desk doing some paper work when I heard the door open and close quietly.
Someone's late, and I exactly knew who. Her presence never went unnoticed in my lessons.
I decided to not lift my head up and wait until she was close to her seat. Her gentle footsteps telling me that she tried to go past me unseen. Too bad for her- I did pay attention to the Japanese girl.
Midst the noise in my classroom of the students talking, I called out for her.
"Ms Myoui, welcome! I see that you came out of your bed on time." I said with a sarcastic tone. My head now looking up to see Mina standing still in her tracks, she probably didn't expect that.
Her body slowly turned around to face me and she began to walk towards me, her head lowered to the floor. With an apologetic expression Mina looked at me.
"What's the reason for your late coming? In English, if you will."
Mina took a deep breath, "I'm sorry, Ms Im. I had to unexpectedly guide the new student of Ms Park around because she had a lack of time and couldn't lead her around. Therefore, I am later than usual." Was her explanation.
Ms Park's new student, huh?
Why doesn't Jihyo take responsibility for her own struggles instead of putting it on others.
How arrogant of her.
This wasn't the first time she crawled herself out of complications- it happened before, but not like this.
I put up a smile and nodded at her, "You can go take your seat, Ms Myoui. But don't let such things hinder you again." I told her.
Mina bowed and rushed back to her seat to start with her English.
I had the urge to get up right now and walk to Ms Park's classroom to confront her, but that'd be just as irresponsible as she was earlier this morning. It'd be best if I waited until we both were in the teacher's lounge so I could talk to her with no rush.
---
Lunch time came around quickly, the students were walking out the classrooms and heading to the cafeteria. I also headed out of my own class, having already eaten in the last minutes of my class.
I only had one purpose as to why I stood up, and that was Park Jihyo.
That girl needed to be put straight by someone until she learns.
Someone had to teach her. And I guess that someone was going to be me in this case.
Almost all teachers were in the lounge drinking coffee or eating their food while having conversation with each other.
I greeted them all and went around the room, looking for a specific woman with black hair.
There was a female with a beige suit on sitting in a chair in the corner of the room. A book was in her lap while she held a cup of something in her hands.
This must be her, it couldn't be anyone else.
As I was going to make my way towards her, I got offered a cup of tea from a man. "Would you like a cup of tea, Ms Im?" He asked in a gruff manner while staring intensely at my eyes.
