"Argh– motherfucker!" A sharp pain covered her head as she winced. When she thought she was laying in her coffin, she wasn't. So instead, she thought she was lying in a hospital bed. But her legs said otherwise. She found herself walking with people who looked familiar. And, she also made a mistake by swearing out loud.

Her voice caught the attention of the people walking beside her.

"Uh...Sorry for swearing! Hehe, I didn't mean to–"

"WTF-"

"Eh? Why the hell are you swearing?"

"Y/n, you okay?"

'Hold on...what are they saying...and how do they know my name...?"

Suddenly, your eyes spontaneously widened. In front of you were your friends from school, and most important of all, a very worried looking Takemichi.

'T-takemichi...!?' You thought as your eyes bulged out in shock.

"Y-y/n..."

"You're here." Your eyes teared up a little bit, but the sadness got replaced with anger.

Meanwhile, Akkun and the others were confusingly tilting their heads, trying to find out why you 2 were acting like you haven't seen each other for a long time.

And that's how it started...

Time skip

Present time...

"Y/n-chan. Takemichi-kun. Promise you'll stay safe. You both."

You remembered those words Naoto said. His words were sincere and gentle, but pressuring. You didn't know how you'll survive in this new world in a different era. For God's sake, you were just an ordinary girl who lost a friend! (But lucky you, he came back again.) Not before you suddenly gained a superpower which was time traveling, yet here you are, struggling to find a place for you to stay before it gets dark. And worse, you don't know how you'll get back or what even triggers this kind of time traveling thing.

"Fuck this. If I just didn't agree to his damn cries, then maybe I would still be watching tv and enjoying my life!... Wait, y'know what. Damn it! My life's not even enjoyable!" You rolled your eyes, until suddenly your eyes caught something.

A funeral parlor. Great.

And off you go.

It wasn't really the best place for you to stay, but your guts told you to go in there and not waste any time. And because your tired legs were also a reason, you decided to just obey your intuition instead of complaining more.

"Why hello dearie!~"

"AH-!" You stumbled back in shock, trying to find the doorknob as you struggled to breathe.

'Holy fuck' You thought. What was that? That was creepy af.

"Uh..uh, s-sorry! I'm just gonna get outta here! Sorry if I disturbed you!"

There stepped a tall ass man wearing a dark cloak-like outfit. It took only seconds for you to examine his features. He had long gray hair and fingernails. But what you didn't fail to notice is his smile. His. fucking. Smile.

It was also the one who creeped you out the most.

"This is a mistake. I swear, this is a fucking mistake." You muttered.

"I heard you!~"

"Look sir! I'm really sorry! But please, I'm not trying to break in or anything. I'm just looking for a place to stay." You bowed a lot of times, trying to reassure the unknown man you were no harm.

After telling him what happened (but also leaving out some 'details'), he finally gave in.

"Hm, fine~ On one condition!"

You tilted your head and furrowed your brows. 'This better not be what I think it is...'

"You...hm...AH!~ Apprentice~"

He smiled even more. Meanwhile, you were confused.

"You want me to be your apprentice...?" You asked out of curiosity if you just heard him right.

"Yes~ Now what's your name dear?~"

"It's y/n. And I'm not telling you my surname because I don't know you yet." You realized you said it in a harsh tone.

"Ah, I see...A feisty one, I like it~" He licked his lips.

Now that only made you more scared than you were before.
