It was 4 pm and the lectures had finally ended. My legs were aching a bit because of standing for 3 hrs because of the practicals and I just wanted to reach home fast and go to my favorite place............... my bed
I was putting my stuffs that's when I realized I had to return the book that I had taken from the library before leaving today.
I was on my way to library when I saw the new guy kinda looking lost . At first I just thought to leave silently but then the thought that maybe he really needed help crossed my mind.
I slowly went towards him and gently called him
Hey uhmm are you looking for something? Do you need any help? I asked him timidly.
Hi ..actually I was searching for the library. I had to take some reference books that the professor had mentioned but I guess I got confused on my way there.
I am on my way to the library so if you don't find it uncomfortable I will show you the library.
His eyes immediately lit up and became excited like a cute puppy. Really?? Thank you very much !
After finishing my task , somehow we both exited the library together.
While walking through the silent corridor he broke the awkward silence .
Once again thank you very much , if you wouldn't have helped me I might have been going circles in college trying to find the library.
