you walked around the oddly wiped out liminal building, your head down to the ground as you walked with confusion filling you. who was behind all this? every single time you were raiding the AAHW for supplies you find everyone dead. dead agents and so more everywhere, blood painting the grey dull metal walls and the floors of the building, you want to know who was behind this. surely that person was still lurking somewhere around here.
you peeked your head around the corner before making sure it was safe. I mean ofcourse it was. this whole building was wiped out.
you carefully walked, hearing your boots tap every single time you made a step to the metal floor, the sounds echoeing within the quiet hall. you heard a sudden clink behind you, you quickly swifted around, looking around only to find a knife Infront of you on the ground. "what the hell.." you breathely muttered under your breath, looking around once more. "Good to see you once again, old friend." you heard a deep voice say, you looked up, finding him crouching in a semi-large vent, staring down at you. "wait, hank. is that you?" he jumped down, making a loud-bang sounding noise. "the one and only." your hands shivered in shock, your only reaction was to drop your weapon(s) and run to him. he opened his arms, hugging you once you fell into his arms. "hank! gosh where have you been.." hank would pat your back, sighing. "im sorry I disappeared, [name]." your grip on hank got tighter, you just wanted to cherish this moment of finally reuniting with your old bestfriend. "It's fine [name]. I'm here now." he rubbed your back in reassurance, making you relax and for your grip to become looser. "I missed you."
"I did aswell [name]. I love you."
