here is what me mum and dad said when I was younger:
Mum: Stop playing and go read a book.
Me: But I don't want to!
Mum: Well, too bad, do it anyway.
Me: Dad!
Dad: Listen to your mum.
here is what they say now
Dad: Will you stop reading?
Me: No, why would I do that?
Mum: (takes book and shouts) STOP READING AND GO PLAY LIKE A NORMAL CHILD!
Me: Fine, no need to shout, geez.
And everytime they this do this it's like " What do you want me to do read or play, make up your mind people!"
