I had to return. My anger for Sebastian had increased a lot. But I had no choice. I had to listen to his rage towards the hybrids and Witchs. The thing he does almost every day. I wonder if he ever gets tired of this. It seems like there is no end to this war. They were right this war will end only when there is no Sebastian. And then there is this person, Destiney. Destiney is a beautiful lady who can see the future. But the future always changes. Destiney gets certain visions to be more specific. She knows everything but most of the time she pretends she doesn't know any of it. I can read her thoughts. She knew that I was with Ivy.

"You know don't you?", I ask.

"Of course, I do know. I know every little thing about you Luke.", she says.

"Then why don't you alert Sebastian and Julius?"

"Because that's not my part in this story. I just try to let things go the way it is supposed to."

"And how is supposed to go, Destiney?"

"There is no turning back Luke. You must kill Sebastian. That's your fate! Whoever gets turned by the descendants of the first kind ends up killing them. So, you will kill Sebastian."

"You really think I can do that?", I ask not having faith in myself.

"You love Sebastian a lot. I know that. But you will end up loving that girl child even more. But guess what? She is not the one for you!", she says laughing.

"What do you mean?"

"Ivy was supposed to die that day. She was supposed to be killed by Sebastian along with her parents. But she survived because of her love for her parents. Then she tried to kill herself to fulfil her fate but you saved her life. Now she is entangled in a lost destiny. Everyone has a thread connected to them that takes them to their final destination in life. Which tells them the reason to live. But Ivy has a cutoff thread that has no end. She has lost her path. There is no path for her. But you do. But still, you want to tie her to your thread. You two together will bring destruction and peace at the same time. When the time comes you will understand what I meant. You will kill Sebastian and Julius."

"But I don't have the strength to kill him."

"You will get the strength. Wait for it."
"I don't think I can ever kill someone who looked after my life all this time."

"Well, you can. And you will. You still think you can only use your strength to protect Sebastian. You will be proved wrong soon.", she says smiling and walking away.

If that is true then what will happen to me?

I spent an entire week thinking about it. Who is more important? I do not know. I met Ivy. She was doing much better now. She smiled at me happily. She looked so innocent. Her hair was completely messy since she had just come from practice. I fix her hair. I hold her hand and see the thick band-aid on her arms. My smile fell. She was hurt because of me. She was hurting every single day because of the people around me. Can I ever bare to see her hurt even more? Is it possible? I don't know.

"How is your wound?", I ask.

"Much better."

"And the one on your back?"

"It's still the same. They won't go. The Fyn herb is also not working on it."

"Oh no."

"I guess I gotta live with it."

I look at her sadly.

"Wanna practise with me?", she asks getting excited.

"Sure.", I said getting happy seeing her smile. Her smile makes me happy. Even if shortly she does something really hurtful, her one smile would melt my heart and make me forgive her. That's how much I like her.

We practice for a while. She fights really good. Trixie trained her well. But she wouldn't stand a chance against Sebastian. He is the strongest being on this planet. No one can defete him. No one can.

I become sad again.

"What happened?", she asked stroking my cheeks.

"Can you not go for the war?"

"No, Luke. I hope you respect my decision."

"I do respect your, decision. But I don't want to see you hurt."

"We can't do anything about it. It's my fate. I need to avenge my parents' death."

"Ivy...", I whisper and hug her. "I love you."

"I love you too, Luke.", she says hugging me back. "A lot."

I kiss her lips and leave. I didn't turn back. She didn't stop me. This was our goodbye. I love her but I can't be with her. I couldn't leave Sebastian. I owe him my life.
