2019 was quite an eventful year for Min-ah and her fellow group members. This was also the first year that the BTS members were given a break. Though it was a risky decision, the year still ended as another big year for the group. Min-ah saw this year as a year of "closure" for her personally. She viewed this year as the official start of her being able to allow herself to live in the moment rather then dwelling on past situations. Min-ah also found herself falling in love this year for the first time in years. Instead of shutting the feeling way, Min-ah allowed herself to actually feel the emotions and not feel guilty for doing so.

𝗦𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗘 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪

Min-ah wanted her hair to get back to being healthy so she chose to keep it long and natural through the year.

𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪

Fans loved seeing Min-ah's bubbly and fun personality really shine this year. One of the biggest differences fans noticed in Min-ah was her online presence. Min-ah was previously known as one of the members who very rarely posted on the groups social medias, but after the group joined Weverse, netizens were pleasantly surprised to see her actively interacting with fans on the app.

With confidence and charisma, Min-ah shone even brighter this year on stage. She constantly went viral for her vocals, stage presence and visuals.

For the first time since her debut, Min-ah saw the year of 2019 to be uneventful in terms of rumors or scandals.
