Kai's PoV
Who?
"Pardon, miss?"
"Your room was paid by Mr. Havoc Villarreal, sir." ulit niya na ikinatahamik ko.
Havoc Villarreal.... It sounds so familiar.
Isn't it the full name of---
No way.
"Havoc?" naguguluhang tanong ni Monarch. He glanced at me looking confused.
Hindi ko siya pinansin at nagpasalamat nalang sa receptionist bago lumabas na ng hotel. While in the car of Monarch, I can't help but think why him and not that bastard Cadnum? Don't get me wrong. I am very greatful that it isn't him but this don't make sense.
I was with Cadnum before I fainted moreover, I am in Monarch's house! In addition, he even said that he was also attending a party so, why would he be---
I couldn't help but laugh bitterly when I realized something.
The fate is really with us! Damn.
I covered my mouth and couldn't help but whispered. "I really did it with him?"
"Huh? Huh? Did what with who?? Okay ka lang? Mas nagiging weird ka na bestfriend, ah!" sabat ni Monarch habang nagd-drive at sinulyapan pa ako ng tingin.
"It's nothing." sagot ko sa kaniya at tumingin nalang sa bintana.
I don't know why but I think, I regret nothing.
But why isn't he there when I woke up?
When we arrived at my house, Monarch, as usual, followed me to my room. I know why but I didn't say anything. I changed my clothes and then, went to the kitchen to grab some food. I sat down on a stool at the kitchen counter and waited for Monarch to ask first.
I didn't wait too long because I think, he's been itching to ask, too. He stood in front of me and then, slammed his hands on the counter. I reacted nothing and just continued eating.
"Kailan ka magkukwento, Amory?!" nababanas na tanong niya.
He called me by my second name, he must be genuinely mad.
I sighed. "Saan ba ako magsisimula?"
"Sa huli. Gusto mo?" sarkastikong tanong niya.
"Pwede rin."
"Kaiicen Amory Lim! Hindi ako nakikipagbiruan!" galit na sigaw niya.
Sabi mo eh.
"Let me finish my food first, alright?"
"No. Hindi pwede. Dadating na mamaya si Tita, diba? Para maghapunan? Do you want her to know what you had been to? Alam kong hindi ganun kasimple ang nangyari kung pagbabasehan ko 'yang mga kinikilos mo. I know you too well." saad niya.
"We know each other too well that it's scary." sabi ko naman tsaka uminom ng gatas.
I took a suppressant also, just in case na hindi pa rin tapos ang heat ko. Usually, my heat would last 3 days. But I relieved myself last night so, it might only take 24 hours. Pero dahil hindi naman makakapansin itong si Monarch, sinisigurado ko lang na hindi na ulit iyon mangyari sa'kin.
"Scary nga kaya magsalita ka na kundi isusumbong kita sa boyfriend mo." sabi niya habang umiinom ako ng gatas kaya nabilaukan ako. "Ano? 'Wag mong sabihin na hindi pa kayo magboyfriend?!" gulat na aniya.
Umiling ako. "Hindi pa nga---"
"HUHHH?!!"
"--But! It's not the reason why I choked myself." sabi ko.
