Just Canada and Italy hanging out, requested by COUNTRYHUM4NS. Sorry this took so long :)
Oh yeah- and this could be read as romantic or just a friendship. Up to you!

Canada sat at a table in a park, wearing a light jacket. The day wasn't all that bad, swirling clouds making the sky a sad grey and small snowflakes falling from them. The ground was covered in around 12cm of snow, which wasn't a lot compared to his more northern provinces and territories. Canada shook off his idle thoughts and clutched his Tim Hortons cup a little harder in favour of blankly admiring the scene around him. He had a small duffel bag beside him on the picnic bench. A go train sounded in the distance as a voice was heard behind him.
"Hey Canada!"
Canada looked around to see Italy piled underneath a bunch of unnecessary snow gear running and waving to him. Canada smiled and gave a small wave back, taking a sip out of his hot chocolate.
"What's with all the heavy snow gear?" Canada Interrogated, raising a brow.
"I could ask you something similar! It's freezing out here- how are you not cold?" Italy complained. Canada chuckled at the comment and stood up from the picnic table, slinging his duffel bag over his shoulder.
"Well anyways, let's go- I don't want to wait around all day and get there at closing hours."
Italy gave a small frown and started walking toward the general direction of the skating complex, which was easily out-paced by Canada, due to Italy having to waddle because of the heavy winter gear. Italy gave a frown and started to waddle faster- almost running at that point but going no faster than a snail.
"I still don't understand why you're wearing all that heavy gear- we're in Ontario for maple syrup's sake, not Nunavut. Plus it's only light snow." Canada said, giving an exasperated sigh.
"Shut up! You don't know how cold your country actually is! It's abnormal!" Italy shouted at him, which caused Canada to laugh.
"Pineapple pizza maker- you monster- an absolute demon." Italy mumbled- which Canada heard, causing him to laugh harder. He stopped walking and waited for Italy to catch up before Italy raised his leg and stomped on Canada's foot- causing him to yelp in surprise, almost dropping his hot chocolate.
"That's for everything." Italy grinned. Canada stood there with a painted look on his face, suddenly tackling Italy and near suffocating him with his own winter gear.
"Jokes aside, let's actually head over to the skating complex- I don't want to be late." Canada Insisted, releasing Italy and continuing to walk along the sidewalk that was leaving the park. Italy huffed and speed-waddled behind him.
The walking took a little while, but they soon ended up at the recreational centre.
"Oh!" Canada exclaimed, whirling around to look at Italy.
"Did you bring your stuff?" Canada questioned, eyeing Italy to try and find something that resembled a bag on him.
"Yes, yes I did." Italy expressed proudly- as if remembering it was a great accomplishment and seemingly materializing the bag out of nowhere. Canada breathed a sigh of ease, glad that Italy had brought it along with himself.
"Now let's go in." He said, walking into the building, coming into the lobby. Canada tried to speed run all the boring stuff, eager to get to the rink- which at one point included a lady at the reception questioning if she should call the police- reasoning Italy and his snow gear. After the whole fiasco Canada had to sit down on one of the couches to contemplate his life choices, taking a swig of his hot chocolate only to find that it was empty and having to throw out the cup only after rolling up the rim. It was disappointing to see that there was nothing there but if there was Canada would know he would be dreaming.
