15. Transfiguration

-Y/n's pov-

'okay pack up and head to the great hall, it is lunch time' I say and they all start packing up, I have given some of Bella's lessons because she was busy with grading and I found it fun to do. When everyone leaves I turn to Bella

'should we get some lunch?' I ask her 'sure' she says and stands up, walking around the desk before wrapping one arm around my waist and pulling me towards her, I groan when the energy flows into my body 'still not used to it' I whine and she chuckles 'oh wait, I have to do something real quick, you can go to the great hall, Cissa should be there' she says

'okay, Bella' I say and leave, I walk in the corridor 'Y/n is a really good professor, I like her more than professor Black' I hear someone say and I turn left, seeing the small group, I recognize them 'hey guys' I say

'hello professor' they say 'oh just say Y/n, please, I am not a professor' I say and chuckle 'how did you find my lesson?' I ask 'you did really good, Y/n!' James says 'thanks and sorry for my outburst, I just can't stand people who are acting brave but when they're shouted at they're silent' I say and they laugh

'why aren't you guys in the great hall, there is lunch?' I say 'we were on our way' Emely says 'oh same, let's go then' I say and we walk to the great hall, I am walking in front of them as we enter, I look at the teachers table and Cissa is already sitting there

I smile at her as I walk through the hall towards my spot next to her 'hey' I say and sit down 'hey, love' she says and kisses my cheek, they immediately heat up 'was it fun with Bella?' she asks and I nod as I put some food in my mouth

'I gave some classes and graded some work from Bella' I say as my mouth is empty 'good, good, so you had fun?' she asks 'yes I did' I say and she chuckles 'good to hear' I hear Bella's voice 'hey, there you are' Cissa says and Bella sits down

'yeah, had to do something' she says 'you didn't kill anyone did you' I tease and she looks at me 'what did you just say?' she warns 'just teasing!' I say and put my hands in the air and we both chuckle.

I look into the great hall and see some people looking at me 'people are probably surprised to see you two laugh, you two always look moody' I then blurt out 'what?' Bella says 'yeah, I mean, yeah just what I said actually' I say and chuckle

'we laugh often' Cissa says 'yeah sure, then why was I in detention for correcting Bella!' I say and look at her 'we were messing with you' Cissa says 'oh really? I was so mad that day, you don't know' I say and laugh 'really, was our little lion mad?' Cissa whispers 'yeah, I mean, I was correct' I say and look into Bella's eyes

'you were' she mutters and I slam my hand on the table 'there, she said it' I say and look at Cissa who is smiling 'she said it, indeed' Cissa says and I smirk, looking at Bella.

I teased her the whole time at lunch while Cissa was just laughing at my behaviour.

'may I join Minerva with some classes?' I ask, Cissa and Bella look at each other before nodding. I walk towards Minerva 'hey professor, I have a question. Can I join you with some classes?' I ask 'of course Y/n, sounds fun!' she says excitedly and we get to the classroom

'I need to tell you something...' I admit 'tel me, Y/n. You can trust me' she says 'I am the white wolf' I say as I close the door, I turn to her with her, her mouth is hung open 'Cissa and Bella know it too' I add 'so you mean that you are an animagus?' she asks and I nod

'that is amazing!' she says 'why?' I ask 'because we are talking about animagusses with transfiguration year three' she says 'and instead of me, you can shift into your wolf form' she says

'that sounds pretty awesome' I say and walk to her desk, she conjures an extra desk 'your own desk' she says and my eyes widen 'thanks!' I say and sit down

Then people start walking into the classroom 'good day everyone' Minerva says and looks at me 'the stage is yours, talk about everything you know about animagusses' she says and sits down at her desk 'so, hey everyone, as you know I am Y/n but anyway' I say and chuckle

'Uhm... An Animagus was a witch or wizard who could transform themselves into an animal and back again at will. It was a learned skill, unlike the hereditary skill of a Metamorphmagus. I am an animagus and with that I just can shift into my animal form and back' I say

'what is your animal, professor?' a boy asks 'wolf' I say 'should I demonstrate it?' I ask and they nod their heads exitingely 'okay' I say and focus, a few seconds later I am on four paws and I am a wolf, the room fills with gasps and whispers.

I quickly shift back and look at the class 'as you just saw, I am the mysterious white wolf that was sighted a few days ago' I say and a girl raises her hand 'yeah?' I say and allow her to speak 'how did you manage to become an animagus in such short time?' a girl asks, I look at Minerva who gives me a nod that I can tell them

'Part of the process by which one became an Animagus was holding the leaf of a Mandrake in their mouth for the entire time of making the potion. You use the leaf for the creation of a potion, reciting an incantation on a daily basis, and drinking the Animagus potion during a lightning storm' I say and pause

'Once the initial training was over, an Animagus could then change at will, with or without the use of a wand. Animagi who took on the form of species capable of flight could enjoy the sensation without the need of broomsticks, flying carpets, or riding on flying animals. It was debated for one's Animagus form to be a magical creature, and also debated for an Animagus to be a Dementor. The reason that I did it in one night instead of a month was because many of my ancestors were animagusses' I explain and continue answering questions before sending them to do their work

I walk towards my desk that is placed next to Minerva's and sit down 'impressive' she says and chuckles 'thanks, professor' I say 'you really know about it' she says and I nod 'yeah, I payed attention' I say and chuckle. We talk for a bit while the children are working.

'what am I going to learn in Transfiguration this year?' I ask 'not much, we're just going to recap from earlier years but you'll learn how to transfigure a king to a rook' she says 'ah okay, sounds fun though' I say 'it's going to be fun' she says and I smile.
