So at this point, Hyunjin was wondering when his parents would confront him because he was almost never at their apartment. Definitely not a full day.
Either he was with the Kims or he was trying to maintain his social networks and distracting himself from said Kims by hanging out with his friends. After the photoshoot they had hung around together just the four of them but they kept mentioning their other friends and seeing how Felix and Changbin had hit it off...
"Seungmin? Would you like our close friends to meet? I'm sure it's difficult for you to schedule hanging out with your friends but with so many people there ready to give a hand, Yujin will be taken care of and you can relax." Hyunjin had offered and Seungmin didn't even put up a fight. He immediately agreed and Hyunjin suggested they cook something together and play a few board games.
The first time they met all together it went something like this:
Jisung couldn't stop blabbering.
The first time Jisung laid eyes on Seungmin he'd literally gone 'oh la la Hyunjinnie you sure know how to pick them! That jawline! Those eyes! That hair! You'll make such beautiful babies...oh right you did! Hey there I'm uncle Jisungie!' he'd crouched down and stayed comfortable there speaking with Yujin. Right in his element; closer to hell.
Hyunjin had been mortified and from there it only got worse. Jeongin wasn't much better. He started insulting Seungmin – he'd let him know ahead of time that that was his way of saying he liked him – although he had the foresight to use child appropriate language. If was actually kind of funny like Hyunjin didn't see Seungmin as Shrek but Yujin had laughed so much!
Seungmin gave as much as he got and then some. He could tell that Jeongin was impressed. Usually they tended to baby him but Seungmin, who had an actual baby (well, toddler) didn't do that which probably made Jeongin appreciate him more (until he'd need something and couldn't use the maknae card).
Actually...
"Hey Innie, you're not the maknae here! Please don't have a crisis"
"Shut up Hyune. You're uglier today, did I tell you that?"
Ouch. He knew he meant it as a joke but he pouted.
"Don't worry baby, I'll save you from the mean monster!" Jisung shouted which had a direct effect of Hyunjin wincing like usual "How about we turn that enemies to friends into enemies to friends to lovers?" Jisung had suggested, wiggling eyebrows and everything and the direct effect was Hyunjin rolling his eyes.
"No thanks but perhaps I should cut my hair since you think I'm ugly. That should be better right?" he asked, twirling some of said hair which he had no intention of cutting unless it was a strengthening trim.
"No! Don't!" Jeongin said with pure panic; you'd think he was begging for his life or something.
Seungmin had stared. This had all happened at the door. From the other side he could hear more chaos – some of which was the child who he thought had ran away from Jisung (because she was smart and still in time unlike him who was stuck with his best friend since the other took him under his wing and plied him with claw machine plushies). Changbin was included with that chaos since he had gone earlier to meet 'Felix's friends'. By the sound of 'yahhhh' and 'yohhhhhh' they had hit it off.
"He's joking. We really started off disliking each other but now he's my best friend but he's never going to be my lover" he had felt the need to explain.
"Ouch. Fine. Innie you're right. He's ugly."
In short...it was pure chaos.
So really; it was quite ordinary. Nothing that odd.
