Bronte never knew what she was capable of.
She was a quiet, yet hyperactive spaz, who couldn't read to save her life. The only thing that made sense to Bronte was the friendship she made with a young boy, Cooper Davidson.
Cooper never left the girl's side and would always say it was to protect her, but Bronte never knew why she wasn't the one to protect him. The boy used crutches to keep himself from falling over and could barely stand up straight without them.
Kids would always make fun of him because he was easy to pick on and the girl did her best to stop it from happening, but with problems of her own, it was hard not to let a sly comment from a certain redhead slip by.
Bronte had been going to Yancy Academy for a year thinking that they were going to help her with whatever was wrong with her, but she was wrong. She soon realized that everyone else there was just like her, so she wasn't going to leave anytime soon.
A young boy with the name of Percy Jackson recently started to attend Yancy Academy. Who knew that if you stare at one person for a long time, you could figure out every little thing about them?
Bronte swore to never get involved with anyone, but after she noticed him, it was like she couldn't get away. She didn't know what it was, but something pulled her in towards him and it didn't want to let her go. She didn't mind it, so she held on tighter.
When a troubling sign comes barreling in at the two kids during a field trip to the museum, their worlds turn upside down as the myths become true and the impossible becomes possible.
