"What do you want?" Five immediately demanded as soon as we stood in front of Lila and the Handler

"What do you want?" Five immediately demanded as soon as we stood in front of Lila and the Handler. "To watch you suffer." Lila spat at us. "What about me?" Diego asked.

"You're not even worth my wrath."

"Easy." The Handler said as she stepped in. "We're here on official business." She continued with a evil grin. "And what business is that?" Five asked.

"As the head of the Commission, I've decided to eliminate the criminals responsible for the assassination of the former board of directors." The Handler said, reminding me of the day we eliminated AJ and his team. It was also the day me and Five got officially back together.

"Yeah, right. We didn't kill the board." Diego said proudly, even though he was wrong. "Uh, actually, Diego, that's not entirely accurate." Five said quietly. Diego slowly turned his head around and stared at him.

Five let out a sigh as he didn't know how to explain to Diego how me and him completely destroyed the whole Commission to get them back to 2019 again.

"Five, what the hell did you do?" Diego whispered from the side of his mouth and he continued to stare grimly at the Handler. "First of all, it was both me and Y/N who did it" Five said, making me kick him in the leg, hard. Five groaned slightly but pretended like nothing happened.

"What we had to to get my family home. Until somebody reneged on our deal." Five said before starting to glare at the Handler. "Somebody wouldn't have reneged if somebody could've met a simple deadline." She fought back.

"You set us up to fail." I said, joining in on the conversation. "You set yourself up to fail, friend. You and your brothers and sisters." The Handler spat back, only making me bow my head down in embarrassment.

"Kinda the running theme of your little life, isn't it?" The Handler mocked before laughing in the end.

Diego leaned in, "Dude, I can't believe you killed the board of directors. You have no idea how messed up the Commission is right now." he said. "Messed up? Who's saying that?" The Handler said after she eavesdropped.

"Everybody. Christ, even the janitors think it's going to shit."

"That's not all he killed." Lila said randomly. "What are you talking about?" Five asked, confused. "Don't play dumb, you prepubescent piece of shit."

"Enough. The point is, all of you are going to die today. Hmm?" The Handler said with the same old evil grin that I hated with my dear life.

"Oh. Well, I don't like your chances. Seven of us, two of you." Diego said with a sarcastic smile.

"You know, you're right. Let's change that."

She snapped her fingers and as of that, over a thousand people suddenly teleported on the open field. All three of our mouth's went agape as we stared scaredly at all of them. They were all stocked up with guns and knifes with also a brief case per duo.

Five shakily sighed. "So what do we do now?" Diego said while leaning close to us again. "Well, we got two choices: fight and die now or run and die later." Five said. "Either way, we're food for worms." I added on. "Preference?" Diego asked.

"Wouldn't mind a few more minutes breathing air through the old windbags."

"All right. Let's get this over with, shall we?" The Handler said before pulling out a red hand kerchief that was hidden in her collar.

"Run!" Diego yelled before actually starting to run. I stood there and continued to stare at all of them. "Bye" Lila said with a devilish smile. I stared back at, not knowing what to say.

Five noticed and turned around. He grabbed my hand and started to drag me with him. Eventually, I came back from my little pause and started running along with them, catching up with Diego.

We all ran together, trying to dodge the bullets and run away fast. Eventually I knew that we wouldn't make it to somewhere safe before we got hurt. I sighed.

I grabbed Five and Diego's shoulders. "What the fuck are you doing!?" Diego yelled and asked at the same time. "This might be different for you" I said, probably making Diego more confused than he already is.

I closed my eyes and stopped time. Pausing it for 1 minute.

"What the fuck!" Diego yelled, stopping and look at all the frozen objects. Lila and the Handler were smirking, watching us run. The commission workers were running. The barn was still lit up blue.

"I paused time using my powers. Only for one minutes, though. So, shut up and let's get somewhere safe." I said strictly. The others said nothing and nodded along. We quickly ran to a huge tractor and hid behind it as time unwinded itself.

"So that's what pausing time is like" Five said while looking at me. I winked at him, ignoring the fact that I was blushing. Five just smiled even more back at me.

"Shut up, you two little love birds" Diego said angrily. Both me and Five rolled our eyes.

As time continued, so did the bullets that were being shot at us. "Fuck- I don't think this tractor can save us from getting hurt" I said, putting my hands over my head protectively. "Yeah" Five added on before turning his hands into a fist. He was going to spacial jump.

Except, he didn't.

He kept squeezing his hands shut, trying to spacial jump, but nothing happened. "What!?" I asked confusedly even though Five looked as confused as I was.

"We're fucked"

"Shit, I'm out of fuel. I'm too tired." Five said with a sigh. I looked scaredly at Diego. "Go! I'll. . . I'll cover for you." He said, making me even more confused than before. "Diego, what are you. . ." Five started. "Go!"

Five immediately grabbed my hand and started to run the the nearby house to take cover. I felt bullets ringing past my face, scaring the living hell out of me. Still, me and Five kept looking back at what Diego was doing.

He, for some reason, stood up straight and sighed. He put his hands forward and started to use some force to stop the bullets from hitting us. He had different powers!?

I kept running even though I had a million questions about Diego flying through my head.
