1- Everyone at this party

I'm sitting in my car with my friend Lauren in the passenger seat, and we are going to the premiere after party for The Eternals. My ex Angelina, who plays Thena, is who I'm most worried about. Before her and I were together she would go to these types of parties a lot. When we were together she stopped going to them as much.

I met Angelina through Lauren. I was at one of Laurens concerts a while ago and was backstage, with her when Angelina came up and started talking to us. Her and Lauren still keep up which I'm ok with obviously.

I didn't want to ask her if Angelina was going to be there, and make the next twenty minutes weird. I was still nervous, just in case she was. Just in case I saw her with someone else.

We finally get to the location the party was being held, and it was at Voyeur in West Hollywood. Lauren and I arrive inside and already I'm looking over peoples shoulders, which is fucked up I know.

I'm wearing the dress she picked out for me a couple months back, and I just wanted her to see me... different. If that made sense. I know if I saw her and she walked up to me, I would say the wrong thing even though I had only one drink. So its probably for the best she isn't here. I'm still hoping she's somewhere close.

I keep looking around and everyone here isn't her. No matter how many times I think I saw her, I didn't. She's the only one I want to run into, but I never do. I don't want to keep searching for her in every room, but still I always do.

Lauren and I got in last night, and due to the location of the party we're staying on the west side. Our friend Phoebe told me, Angelina was still staying over here.

Everytime I hear her name, I just can't bear the pain. I end up asking myself, "did I fuck this up or not? Did we waste six years?"

I hope she got the space she needed. Did she realize she doesn't need me? Lauren snapped me out of my thoughts I didn't realize I was lost in. Just to tell me, she's here and walking over to us.

"Hey, Lauren," Angelina said hugging her. "Hi y/n." She said sadder but still she hugged me.
