Roman jumped into Angelica's car, without thinking twice about anyone else. To his surprise, Gabriel appeared in the front seat and Michael in the back. If it was any other time, he would have laughed at the sight of two angels in a car. They rode in an awkward silence, as Roman sped to his uncle's house.

He had so many thoughts going through his head. Was Angelica okay? Was he ready to kill his uncle? What was Michael and Angelica's relationship? During their exchange of words, he had sensed some tension between Angelica and Michael, not to mention Connie's comment had made him suspicious of Michael.

"So how do you fit into the Angelica equation, Michael?" asked Roman casually. "I know you're this popular angel in the Bible but how do you fit into all of this?"

Michael gave him a hard look. "I am her guardian angel."

"Cool. How long have you been doing that?" he asked, continuing to dig.

"All of her life."

"Nice. So, you're like a second father to her, or maybe a favorite uncle," Roman said, watching Michael. He saw Michael's jaw tense.

"I like to think that I am very close to her heart," said Michael, smiling tightly.

"That makes two of us," Roman shot back, smiling too.

"Now that you two have gotten to know each other so well, let's work out a plan to get Angelica," Gabriel snapped.

"That's easy. We kick in the front door, kill anyone in our way, and get her," said Michael.

"Or we could sneak in the house through a secret passage, find Angelica, and get out undetected," suggested Roman smugly.

"I have never been one to sneak in anywhere. If I want to get in, I get in, no questions asked," said Michael cockily. But I can understand if you're scared of confronting your uncle."

"Michael, the boy has a point. Why start a fight if we don't have to? I think we should try his plan. It may save us a lot of trouble and unnecessary bloodshed," said Gabriel.

"Whatever," muttered Michael, crossing him arms. "How do you even know there is a secret passage?"

"Because this is the house I grew up in," he replied, pulling off to the side of the road.

"Why are we stopping here?" asked Gabriel, frowning.

"Because if we're going to sneak in, I don't think we should pull up to the front door. Sheesh, I know you guys are angels, but let's just use a little common sense."

Gabriel looked taken back at the insult.

"You little sh−,"

"Shush, Michael," Gabriel said, getting out of the car to follow Roman.

Roman quietly walked through the woods behind the house. Even though he hadn't been there in years, he still knew the area like the back of his hand.

"Do you think your uncle has any idea of this secret passageway?" whispered Gabriel from behind Roman.

"I doubt he knows. If he did, I'm sure we would've had company by now."

They walked for a few minutes until they came to a clearing in the trees. From where they stood they could see a pool house, a pool and the house. Supernatural's patrolled the house's exterior.

"The pool house is where we need to go," said Roman, crouching low.

"Lead the way," said Michael, keeping his eyes on the supernatural's.

Roman swiftly ran across the clearing to the back of the pool house. There was a sliding door that went inside the pool house. He tried this, and luckily it was unlocked. He knew it was a possibility that it would be locked, but he hadn't wanted to alarm the angels. They already were doubtful of him.
