Once we arrive at Zach's apartment complex, we grab the beach bag Austin packed, and head to the gate that surrounds the pool. Before we head into the pool, Austin grabs my hand and leans into me, crashing his lips against mine. When he lifts his head, I chuckle and ask "What was that for?"
"I don't know." He says putting his hand on the side of my face and kissing me again. This time I kiss back. We stand there kissing each other for what seemed like a few minutes until Rob comes out and says "Get a room." And pushes Austin. Austin laughs into me and turns to face Robert. "Ass." He says and pushes Robert back. They both laugh. Austin and Rob bro hug then we head into the pool. Zach and AC are already in the pool shooting each other with water guns. They look up when Austin, Rob and I walk in. "Just caught these two delinquents making out outside." Rob says, nudging his chin up and pointing at us.
"Ewwwwww!" AC squeals like a girl. We all laugh and Austin and I head to a nearby lounge chair to set our beach bag down.
I'm going in." Austin says, crumpling up his tee shirt and throwing it on the lounge chair. He dives in. I stay and lay a towel on the next chair and grab the sunblock from our bag. I start applying the sunblock when I feel eyes on me. I look ahead of me and see a man, maybe mid twenties, looking at me hungrily. He wears all black: black tee shirt black leather jacket black jeans and black boots. I look away, hoping he does too. Feeling uncomfortable, I walk quickly to the pool, not wanting to make it obvious that I saw him staring. I sit on the edge of the deep end and slide into the clear, cool water. Once I'm fully in the water, Austin comes padding over and wraps his arms protectively around me. "Do you know that guy? Why was he staring at you?" He says glaring at the guy. The guy is staring back. Austin turns back to me. "I don't know. He was looking at me when I was putting sunblock on so I came into the pool." Not taking his eyes off the guy, Austin says "He makes you uncomfortable?" I put my hand on his bicep. "Austin, it's not a big de-" he cuts my off. "Yea. Yea it is, Bri. If he makes you feel uncomfortable I can talk to him." He dad biting down on jaw. He feel his hands start to curl into fists. "Austin. No. It's not a big deal." I say, eager to keep him calm. Then my phone rings. I get out of the pool and jog to the towel laying on the lounge chair. I dry my hands and dig in the small compartment on the side of the bag for my phone. I answer it just as it goes to voicemail. "Brionna! Hello? My dad screams through the phone worriedly. "Hey dad. Um, i'm at the pool with Austin." The whole conversation I feel eyes on me. That guy won't look away. I hang up the phone and drop it in the bag just as the guy in black stands up, his jacket squeaking against the chair he was sitting on. I look up. Not breaking eye contact, he slowly walks towards me. I start to walk to the pool when I hear his footsteps get quicker. He is less than a yard away.

"Hey! What the hell?"
