Imagine a medieval world full of magic, with dragons and monsters, witches and wizards. Many people fear the power of magic and those who weld it, many others embrace it, seeking it out to gain power for themselves.
Those people may use it for right or wrong, but there is one creature that is especially dangerous in the hands of people. One that holds the ability to grant your every wish or whim if it wanted, or twist it into an unspeakable horror.
The creature didn't have to obey any commands, but would if it was given things in return. It came in many different forms, always changing as those who claimed it wished. From dragons to one time a magic pig, it has taken many different forms, but perhaps it's current one was the peculiar.
You can try and guess, like many other people have.
Though I highly doubt you guessed a two inch tall toddler. Yes, that's right. A creature with the power to end all life and existence itself, is two inches tall, and a toddler. It is ageless and has always been in the body of an animal with average human intelligence, now a very small human child.
An added bonus to this already ridiculously weird and wild situation, he was rescued by a commoner boy who got very lucky. The boy has no idea what the creature is, only that the creature looks like a human toddler, a tiny one, but human. So what does he do?
He adopts the creature as his new younger sibling, and promises it that he will take care of it. Much too his uncle's disgruntlement.
