The following is a transcript from a call to 999.
- "Hello this is Lakeview Police Department, please state your emergency"
- "Help!!! Please help! They are outside, they are coming!" [High pitched screams in the background}
- "Calm down ma'am. [Types on a keyboard, muttering can be heard in the background] I have dispatched some patrol cars to your location, please stay calm, take a deep breath, and tell me what is happening"
- "The virus... [Sobs] they... they.. [Caller breathes in deeply] outside... they killed my husband.. [Sobs] please....."
- "Ok.. stay calm! Just stay put... are you o" --
- [Glass can be heard being smashed, along with loud banging and more screaming]
" HELP ME!!! [The caller starts to breathe very fast] Pleeeaaase! They are outside the door! Help me!!!! God, please forgive me!"
[The banging gets louder, and the phone is moved about]
- [Mutters] "Holy crap..... ........ loud..........murder [The woman in the call centre returns to the phone] Are you still ok ma'am?"
[There is a pause, rustling and weird noises can be heard]
"Ma'am are you" --
- "GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRAAAAAIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
