I lay there in my bed, staring at the ceiling. "Why do you always screw up." I think to myself.
"ASHLYN!" I hear my mom yell from down the hall, causing me to nearly jump out of my skin. I stand and head in her direction "Yes Momma?" I say as I approach her "Are you ready to go to the Family Reunion, an have you gotten up with Chase?" I smile an nod turning around to head down the hall. I really wish my boyfriend Chase wasn't going. If only I hadn't fallen for those snake blue eyes. Mom and I pile into the car on our way to the church we pick him up.
We arrive at the church to see tons of cars in the parking lot. "Ashlyn give me your hand." I dart my eyes up at him as I hear him use demand in his voice.
I slowly an gently lay my hand in his in resentment. We walk into the church an I break my hand way from the grasp of Chase, I run to my cousin Blake an jump into a hug "Blake!" I scream when I see him "Oh Gosh! Ashy Is that you?" he smiles I zone out because this guy caught my eye. "Y-yeah it's me" he turns around an points to the person who caught my eye "This is my friend, Jason" I feel my face go giggly pink. I then feel a tight grip on my wrist, with that I feel the tight grip pulling me, I turn around to see a figure that stood about 6'2 dragging me out the church doors an then I realized it was Chase. I glance at my cousin, an I know he can see the fear in my eyes. Once around the side of the church, he slams me against the wall knocking the breath out of me "I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU NOT TO TALK TO OTHER GUYS!" He says all in my face
"Tha-"he cuts me off with a slap across the face. "Please stop!" I cried, "Don't ever tell me to stop little bitch" he says with gridded teeth an he drew back an began to clobber me, punching me, until I was on the ground. An then out of the blur I hear "Get away from her Asshole!" The next thing I knew Chase was on the ground just staring up at the sky."Its over an I'm making that decision for her!" he says kneeling down to see if I was okay an he gets close enough for me to realize it was Jason. I pass out just as Jason brushes my hair out if my face.
