I went back to my apartment. My father hasn't been around much lately. He lived outside, on other beaches. He always tells me that this beach does not bring him good vibes. Instead, I rented an apartment near here. There are some incredible waves! I can't miss them. And besides, today I met a girl who can finally surf. It has given me good energy, I don't know. I just need someone to hang out with here, and I think I may have found her. She is sweet and her voice is charming. She was wearing a light blue and turquoise board, almost like the color of the sea. Was beautiful. I've spent hours looking for her on social media, but I can't find her. Is it possible that she doesn't even have a phone? I don't know, I mean, I haven't either, but I think I would do it just to see her face from time to time. I wonder if I'll ever be able to see her on the beach. The same goes for a walk or surf together, or even, I don't know, going to his house. I know she lives around here on the coast.

-Shit! My jacket!

It just can't be. I left my jacket on the beach, or so I hope. It is very important, it belongs to my father. I took it without asking his permission and if he realizes it's missing, I'm the one who's missing. I ran out there. The truth is that it takes about 3 minutes to get there, but at my pace I arrived in seconds.

-There is!

The relief left me as soon as I saw someone in the water. There was a pile of clothes outside, almost close to where I had lost my jacket. The person had a board and was sitting on top of it. It seemed that he was looking at the moon. I walked over to the clothes and realized it was a girl. I sat down and stopped to look at her. I had no idea who it was but it seemed very strange to see someone, especially a girl, stuck in the waves so late at night. I lay down for a while, I don't even know how long I was there, but suddenly I noticed that the waves were growing. The tide was rising higher and higher. I got up. That girl did not come out of the water. I didn't see any reason to worry until I saw that it had fallen off the board. Hesitate. Should I get closer or is she just trying to get on the board to start surfing? I waited a little more. She didn't go out. So I got worried and ran towards a nearby jet ski. I didn't know how old she was, she was just a simple girl, I didn't know. I felt it was my duty to save her.

-Shit! Tayla! Are you okay? - She was swallowing a lot of water so I didn't hesitate to jump into the water and catch her. I put her on the jet ski and took her running to the shore. -Tayla, wait... I'm going to get the board, don't move.- I ran into the water again, and swam as fast as I could until I found the surfboard. Giving all the hurry in the world I got to where Tayla was. -What the hell were you doing with these waves in there? Do you want to kill yourself or something?

- But what happens to you? I was trying to surf. I don't need a man's help to keep me safe.

-Hey, relax. On top of that I practically just saved your life, and you go and answer me like this? Come on Tayla, you almost drowned.

-I wasn't drowning, kid.

There was silence. That was when I realized that she had gone into the water in her underwear. She realized that I was looking at her and that I had noticed her and she started to blush.

-Amm... I... Excuse me, I am getting dressed. It's just that I wasn't wearing a swimsuit and... -I quickly took her turn to speak.

-Hey. Relax , nothing happens. This afternoon I saw you in a bathing suit, it's practically the same. Don't worry.

Tayla started to get dressed and I started to look at her surreptitiously.

-Do you want me to walk you home? I seem to remember that you told me it was near here right?

-Yes, it's close, but you don't need to come with me. My mother is at home and I slipped out of there without her knowing. It's okay, another day I guess we'll meet. - Tayla started to back up and suddenly I cut her off.

-Wait Tayla!

-Yes?

-I know that I will surely regret it later if I don't do this... Do you have a social network or something with which I can communicate with you? Forgive me, but I've been researching something about you all afternoon. Tayla looked surprised.

-Um, yes, I mean no. I don't have social networks, but I do have a number. It's my house one but anyway if you want to talk someday, call. - Slowly, she took my hand and pulled me closer to her. I felt my heart beating too fast, I think she was beginning to notice, but she didn't say anything. She took out a pen from her jacket and wrote me a phone number. -There you go.

-Thank you Tayla, and please don't die while I'm gone. - I let out a small laugh, loud enough for her to hear me, and she laughed too.

-I guess then I can see you tomorrow?

-I think so.

-My window overlooks the sea, I'll go out if I see you. And now I'm leaving because it's cold.

-Okay, rest Tayla.

-Thank you. You too Asyl.

Each began to walk in completely opposite directions. My heart had skipped a beat. And I think that even the organs of my whole body had been scrambled. Would it be those butterflies that all my friends said? I hope not. I don't want to fall in love, not now.
