I'm A Celeb 2020 Jordan North

Day 1

The car ride up the cliffs were bumpy and the view out of the window was beautiful. I was originally born in Wales but I moved all the way down to Cornwall when I was only 6 months old. I then moved out to America where I started out as a young actor, being in tv adverts of if you're American "commercials".

Then as I got older my singing and dancing classes became more of use as I got noticed when I auditioned to play the role of Riley Evans, Sam Evans younger sister in Glee. It was a chaotic yet amazing time being on the show and it helped my acting carer take off.

As we drive up the cliff the road becomes a lot more bumpy.

"Did I mention I get travel sick?" I ask the driver, but he just ignores me and keeps on driving. He suddenly stops the car so I assume we have arrived. I step out of the car and immediately say a little louder then I should have "It's bloody freezing."

I get told to walk down a path, where I assume the other celebrities are gonna be. I get to the end of path and see the one and only Vernon Kay. Who needs Chris Evans when Vernon Kay is here.

I let a small squeal as I see him "Hi, oh we can have a hug" I say as I go up and give him a hug.

"Hi, wow you need a jacket" Vernon says to me as he looks me up and down. I nod my head as I am wearing ripped baggy jeans and jumper.

"I'm so glad you're here, honestly I was scared I wouldn't know anyone" I say to Vernon as I have met him a few times before and I'm not that great at first impressions with most people.

"Isn't this view mega?" He asks me as we look out past the cliffs.

"Yes, it's gorgeous darling" I say putting on a terrible posh British accent. Vernon laughs at me and shakes his head. We continue to mess about until we hear another set of footsteps walking towards us.

"Morning, I'm Jordan." He says as Vernon makes he way up to him to shake his hand and introduces himself.

He then walk over to me and I give him a hug and say "Hi, I'm Iris so nice to meet you."

Jordan looks at me and smiles and says "I've worn brand new shoes." I looked at him wide eyes and let out a very loud laugh and then shout "No, that's so funny."

"No, hang on why is their a rope going down there?" Jordan asks and looks at us.

"I honestly just ignored it really, how are you with heights" I say back with a small giggle.

"Not good, I had a bagel this morning and I can feel it churning up already." Jordan says back and he just looks so scared already.

We hear someone shout a Hello at us and we turn and look to see who it is.

"Hi, I'm Giovanna Fletcher" She says as I give her a hug and introduce myself. We all continue talking to each other about the view and what we think we are gonna have to do.

Until, the final celebrity walks down and gives me a hug and introduces herself as "Victoria Derbyshire." She looks at Jordan and they both hug already knowing each other and Jordan announces that he used to be her tea boy, now I know who will be making me a brew when we enter the castle.

Now we can finally start the first trial. We walk over to the trunk and see five pairs of boots next to it and a scroll on top.

"There is scroll there who wants to read that?" Vernon asks us all.

Jordan volunteers but says "Now if I read this, it doesn't mean that whatever we are doing next, I'm not going first." We all laugh at the joke and say "deal" but we all know that he is being dead serious.

"Celebrities, welcome to wales. Before you enter camp you must receive your camp rucksacks that are hanging over the edge of this cliff. However, to get down and collect the rucksacks you will need the help of 5 other celebrities, who will be responsible for lowering you down the cliff. Use your radio to contact them." Jordan reads out the scroll and we are all starting to get all nervous and excited.

I ask if I can call on the radio and they say yes and hand it to me.

"Hello, over" I say into the radio waiting for a response.

"Hello, over" We hear a male voice say.

"This is Shane Richie, who is that? Over."

"This is Victoria Derbyshire, Shane" Victoria say's into the radio and we can hear them at the bottom of the cliff so we give them a big cheer and a wave.

We go back and fourth introducing ourselves and find out that the other five celebrities are, Shane Richie, AJ Pritchard, Beverley Callard, Hollie Arnold MBE and Mo Farah! Now I can't lie but Mo Farah is like famous famous.

We open the trunk were we find another scroll which Giovanna reads out. "Celebrities, you must now work in pairs to retrieve your rucksacks, the rucksacks are padlocked to the cliff, to unlock them you'll need to answer questions with help from your fellow celebrities. Any celebrity that fails to collect their rucksack won't have their kit for the first night in camp. Good luck!"
