Day 6

I wake up to feeling a light kiss place on my forehead.

"Guess who's the last one up again" Jordan says to me as I open my eyes and look around to see that everyone else is up and awake.

"I don't wanna get up" I mumble into my sleeping bag and here Jordan walk off.

"No, no Vernon. Don't!" I hear Jordan's panicked voice so I push my head out my sleeping bag just to be greeted by a cup of cold water hitting me in the face.

"Wakey, wakey Iris!" Vernon shouts and lifts me up over his shoulder and carries me out to the main hall of the camp, where everyone was sat.

"Put me down Vernon Kay, I'm soaking!" I shout and hit his back as my hair sticks to my face and water rolls down into my top.

Vernon sets me down on a log and laughs at my wet and pissed off face. I storm away, pissed off and still tired and go to brush my teeth.

I grab the picture of me and my parents that I got as my luxury item and kiss it lightly. Giovanna walks past and I shout if I can have a quick chat. We make our way up onto the balcony.

"I don't really know how to say this but last night me and Jordan, kinda kissed" I look away from Giovanna and pick at my nails.

She squeals like a school girl, "Aw, how was it?" she asks me.

"Yeah it was good and I really like him but I don't want people to think that I'm doing it for the TV, and we haven't really talked about it yet, so I don't even know how he feels" I panic whilst explaining to Gio how I feel.

"Jordan likes you, like a lot. Me and Vernon have been gossiping around to the other camp mates to see if they could see how you guys were flirting." She giggles to me.

"It's just that, we have been here for what, 6 days now but it's felt like weeks. I don't know if that makes sense, but I don't want to rush anything in case it doesn't work out there" I admit out sadly.

"Maybe, you just need to be selfish this one time and go for what you want, instead of worrying about what it looks like to the people at home watching on the telly. Okay?" Giovanna gives me some great advice. I nod and we share a hug and I walk back to the main camp.

"Still pissed at me Hudson?" Vernon questions me.

"Shut up, you dick." I push him jokingly and sit down next to Jordan.

"Didn't you suffer from a tumour?" Ruthie questions Russel and I tense up, as this was how my mum passed away.

"The second one was where it really hit me, because the first one wasn't life threating but the second one, I didn't wake up the next morning." Russel tells us and tears are all ready rolling down my face.

Russel sits down beside me and takes my hand in his and says, "I read an article about your mum Iris, and I'm so sorry that she didn't make it but she is going to be so proud of you for this."

I cry harder and I bury my head into Russel's chest and let out a quite "Thank you".

We then move on to talking onto lighter subjects.

"What has been your favourite song to preform?" Ruthie asks me.

"I think the best song I did on Glee was probably Hung Up by Madonna because I got to do a dance number as well. My favourite Broadway or West End song was definitely Therapy from Tick Tick Boom because it was the most fun to preform." I have a big grin on my face whilst talking about it because I love to sing and it makes me so happy.

"So, how many musicals have you been in and what was like, your top 3?" Jordan gives me a cute smile whilst asking me.

"God, I think I've been in 7 Broadway shows and my top 3 would probably be Rent, Beetlejuice and Hairspray." My smile goes wider as I can see how much Jordan is interested in talking about my job.

Mo and Victoria head off to do the Castle Coin challenge so we wait around for the phone call.

The phone starts to ring and Holly runs up to answer it "According to a recent survey, what percentage of British adults, feel reluctant to tell people their age. Is it A. 22% or B. 10%".

We decide to have a vote and I voted for B 10% as I felt it was the more appropriate answer but the majority vote was for A 22%.

Victoria and Mo walk in dressed as giant birds, robins, and I burst out laughing at the way they look. Sadly, we got the answer wrong, again, but I'm still 4 for 4 with correct answers.

"It's a strange world at the moment" Shane says to us.

Russel goes on to tell us how he did an online performance and it was weird not having an applause afterwards.

"I have done a few online performances but it just doesn't compare" I have done some for talk shows and for YouTube.

"Come with me" Jordan grabs my hand and walks me off to go and sit on the balcony.

"I really like you Jordan" I admit quickly as Jordan looked like he was to afraid to talk first.

A grin spreads across his face and says "Oh thank god, I really like you to Iris". A huge smile makes it's way onto my face as we face each other.

"I just don't want to rush into anything until this is all over. I still want to cuddle and stuff but I don't want people at home to think I'm trying to fake a relationship." I shyly admit and grab onto Jordan's hand.

"That sounds perfect to me, and as soon as we get out of here I'll be taking you out on a date if that's alright?" Jordan blushes and kisses my knuckles.

"Yeah, that sounds perfect." I move closer to him and he gently pushes his lips onto mine and they move in sync like they were meant for each other.

"Oi, stop shagging and get down here!" We here Vernon shout and look down over the balcony edge to see Vernon, Shane, Victoria and Gio all watching us and smiling.

We make our way down to the main hall, holding hands and try to hide the blush that's on our face.

Ant and Dec come through the Castle doors to tell us, again, who will be doing tonight's trial called 'Fort Locks'.

"In no particular order, Russel it's not you, Holly it's not you, Beverley it's not you, Vernon it's not you, Giovanna it's not you, Ruthie it's not you, Shane it's not you, Iris it might be you-" oh great "Victoria it's not you, AJ it's not you, Jordan it's not you, so that mean's Mo it might be you!" We all cheer for Jordan as he finally won't be doing a trial.

"The person they have decided they want to see face Fort Locks is... Mo" Dec announces and I am relieved I don't have to do the trial.

"Finally, you're going to do so good Mo!" I give him a hug as I know he has been itching to do a trial.

We all chant Mo's name and watch as he leaves the castle.

While Mo is gone I talk to Ruthie about the songs we have both enjoyed singing and we have a little sing song of I dreamed a Dream from Les Mis.

I breath in through my noise and mumble "What's that smell?" after saying this Mo walks in through the castle door covered in fish guts. Well, I know what the smell is.

Mo describes the trial and then announces that he got 9 starts, which was amazing as we are going be eating. Mo then went off to go and shower.

The food bell rang and we all cheered as we are starving.

"Celebrities as a result of Mo winning 9 stars in tonight's trial, you have cuttlefish" Shane says to us.

"What's cuttlefish?" I ask confused and when Vernon unwraps the fish it was an actual fish and had tentacles and it freaked me out.

After letting them cook the fish I grabbed my serving and dug right in. It was incredible, best meal yet.

We get ready for bed and me and Jordan cuddle up together and fall asleep.
