"Let's go inside?" I suggested. Our parents were already walking around to the back of my house. "Sure! Let's go to your room?" Britney excitedly asked. "Yeah, sure!" I smiled at Britney and squeezed her hand tightly.
I dragged her through my house and into my room. Britney shut the door behind us. I let out a big long sigh. We were finally alone together again. I let go of Britney's hand and launched myself face down onto my bed. "So, what do you wanna do?" Britney asked while looking around my room, hands in her pockets. I sat up and leaned against my bed frame. "I'm not sure, maybe we can go for a walk?" I honestly didn't really think Britney would want to go on a walk. "Sure. The sun is just starting to set so it would be perfect to watch the sunset." The way Britney was standing at the foot of my bed looking at me almost made me faint. "A-alright let's go ask our parents and see if we can go on a walk then." I was trying so hard not to smile and blush. I got up from my bed and stretched.
Britney and I walked through my house chatting. "You have a nice house." "Thanks." Once we got outside to where the parents were, the sun was already setting. We had to be quick. I yelled across my backyard, "CAN ME AND BRITNEY GO ON A WALK?" I was nervous, in all honesty, I didn't think my parents would let me go. "SURE HONEY!" my mom said. Britney's mom said something similar, "AS LONG AS YOU GUYS STICK TOGETHER, YES." Britney gave her mom a thumbs-up.
I grabbed Britney's hand again and ran around my house. "Where do you wanna walk?" I asked, still holding her hand. I could tell Britney was blushing. "We can walk anywhere really, just not too far because the sun is already setting, and we don't have much time." In the end, we just picked a random direction to walk in. The view was beautiful. The sky was all kinds of colors. Purple, red, orange, and blue were all smeared across the horizon. The white fluffy clouds and chilly breeze made it even better.
I looked up at Britney, and she looked down at me. I stopped walking and turned towards her. "Is something wro-" Britney couldn't finish her sentence before I embraced her tightly. I heard her let out a slight chuckle before she squeezed me back. I couldn't take it anymore, I've been wanting to hug her all night. "Hey, we need to keep walking, it's almost dark, silly." She was right. The sky's colors were almost gone, and you could see the moon coming out. "Fine..." I sighed. Britney grabbed my hand. I must have accidentally let go.
As we were walking back to my house we inched closer and closer to each other, and towards the end of our walk Britney almost had her arm around my waist. Only if we walked for a little bit longer. Anyways, we were back at my house now, and had already told our parents that we were back. Me and Britney eventually went back to my room, like every other time we are in my house. As soon as we walked in my door way, we both launched onto my bed this time. We were tired from walking. Britney took a deep breath, got up to shut my door, and plopped right back down. I can barely remember what happened after that, because i was starting to doze off already.
