Chapter 8

Point of view

I woke up to a tight grip around my waist. I was confused at first until I turned around and saw Alan sleeping peacefully. I didn't want to wake up. He was peacefully asleep and it was comfortable in his arms. I didn't want to get up.

I moved a piece of his hair out of his face and stared at the sleeping boy in front of me. I never really thought of it but Alan was really pretty , his nose, his lips, everything about was just so pretty I just never really noticed until now.

Alan started to smile. "Take a picture, it'll last longer." The sleeping boy said, so I thought.

my cheeks burned a bright shade of red."Shut up."

"Oh Kim, I know you're in love with me, don't need to be embarrassed." He grinned.

"Shut up your ugly no one is in love with you hon." I said as I pushed his face away.

He let go of me and laid on his back as I did the same. "I really missed you, I missed this." He said.

I smiled. "So did I."

He sat up and got off my bed. "Hey it's the first day of summer, let's get up and do something fun!!"

"Alright let me go get ready then we can go to your house and then you can get ready." I jumped off the bed and walked over to my dresser and picked out a simple outfit.

I picked a blacked crop top, some blueish ripped jeans and my blue flannel. I grabbed my blue bandanna and my favorite necklace with a K on it that my step dad gave to me.

"Okay I'm going to change in the bathroom, I'll be right back." I said with a smile on my face as I walked out of my room into the bathroom.

I quickly changed into my outfit. I wet my curly hair then brushed it. I put the blue bandanna on as a bow and let 2 pieces of my hair hang out in the front.

Once I finished with my hair I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I put my necklace on and put only mascara on.

I walked out of the bathroom and back into my room we're Alan was sitting on my bed. "Okay I'm ready, let's go!" I pulled his arm helping him stand up.

"Damn Kim, I can get up by myself." A little laugh pasted his lips.

I rolled my eyes."I was helping you dummy just for that I'm not helping you no more." I said as I crossed my arms.

We both walked out of my room and headed downstairs.

"Wait, I need to put on my shoes." I walked over to the closet by the door and grabbed my black Converse.

The walk was silent and not uncomfortable. We walked for about 5 minutes. His house wasn't far. It was maybe about 3 blocks away from mine and we were running halfway.

He was getting ready while I was in the kitchen catching up with his mom.

"Long time no see baby." She said as she glanced my way.

"Too long Jessica." I smiled at her.

She smiled back "So no boyfriend yet darling?"

I laughed, "I don't really want a boyfriend right now."

"So a girlfriend?" She smiled.

"Oh Jessica girls are hot but I'm not into them like that." I said as I walked over to her couch and sat down.

She followed behind me. "What about that Benny boy Alan brings around? I think he would be good for you. I'll tell Alan to bring him so you can meet him!"
