wait what?

katy's POV:
I had just come back from. It was around 3:50pm. I was supposed to stay for soccer practice but my friends were coming over so I couldn't stay. I walked up to the door and took my key out unlocking the door. It was silent. Not a beep or nothing. I looked around for my mom. Nowhere to be found. I decide to not look further for her. I took a seat on the couch. Far to lazy to go upstairs to my actual room.
"hey mum" I said as she rounded the corner dressed presentable and with a black hand bag. I frowned what was she so dressed up for?
"hey honey how was school?" She rushed looking for her keys
"Good" for the most part besids the classes. Nothing out of the ordinary" I had my bestfriends Luke,Michael, Calum, and Ashton. They got me thru the school day.
"Where are you going?"
"Important interview slash meeting"
"Well mum im going to start seting up the boys are coming over today"
"ok cool tell them I said hi, love you." She gave me a quick peck on my temple and headed for the door.
"Well I fuiger the norm so m going with maybe possibley play video games and watch movies like you love to say 'and you know the norm'."
"okay mom you know me to well! Have fun with this 'important meating slash interview' you have or yeah by the way when are you coming back?"
"around 5 or so shouldn't take me to long"
"ok I love you mum"
"me too" she gave me one final kiss on  my head and left for the door.

I decide Id been lasting around for far to long and need to get dressed out of my uniform. Making my way upstairs the series of being home along creeped in. Something feel in the kitchen. Almost making me scream. I stood my ground. Could've just been the broom right? Hopefully just my imagination. Panik settled into me. What if someone had broken in and they had plans to kill me!

I quietly ran up the stairs. Was I just paranoid? After not hearing any more type of commotion I grabbed a small pocket knife fromy room. Always had it there for protection. Just in case something like this ever happened. I slipped out of my room and made my way towars the stairs.

I looked into the living room to my left and saw no one. I then walked to the right to enter the kitchen. Empty. The broom lay on the ground just like I had predicted.

I sighed a sigh of relief as I started at it.

"Your bitch ass scared md dumb fuck!" I screamed at it like it could somehow understand what I was saying. I knew far to well it couldn't.

I turned around and put the knife in my pocket. I walked to the fridge and opened it. There were potatoes with steak. I took it out and set it on the stove. I turned it on and put it in mideum high. walking out of the kitchen. I headed for the living room and set up the two Xboxs. Luke had handed me his today and told me to take it with him. He had wanted me to set it up at my place so we could all play together.

Time to tackle the next challenge. Bringing the TV down from my room to the living room. It was going to be a struggle I didn't want to put up. Sadly I was going to have to indur it.  Walking slowly up the stairs I decided before that I would change. I hadn't done it since the almost intruder experience. My anxiety had told me not to since 'what if there was one and he walked in on me changing?' I wouldn't want to be murdered half naked! After I was done and in navy blue jeans with a white shirt. I had paired it with blue Converse. I tied my short brown hair into a ponytail. I did my normal makeup routine. And added a bit of lipstick.

I got my bluetooth speaker out of the closet along side the Xbox controllers, and went back down the stairs into the living room setting them down.

I walked into he kitchen turned off the potatoes with steak and grabbed five plates and cups. I went to the cabinets and looked for the popcorn. I tossed them into the microwave with hr popcorn button and walked out. I served the plates and took them to the living room. Just as I set them down. There was a knock on the door.
"hey" there stood Micahel ackwordly.
"hey whats up!"
"nun how about you?"
"getting ready my mums not home till 9 so we have the whole house to our selves.
"lets goooo" He said jumping in the air and then running around the house and coming back still yelling.
"ok chill the rest should be here soon."
"ok" he said as he put his feet up on the coffe tabel with his arms behind his back. laying back and closing his eyes. I decided to play a prank on him so I went into the kitchen got a sprayer and put cold water in it. i then crpepped up to him and sprayed it on his face.
"heyyyy! cat whey you do that????" he said stunned as he raised his arms up in deffense. I laughed so hard I didnt even relize that they were knocking on the door.
"ill get it" he muttered
"hey were katy?"
"inside come in boys!"
"hello kateee" the boys said
"hel-" i was cut off by the television turning on and a news report coming on.

"hello my name is cartney rodriguez today im reporting frm the heart of sydney. Im also saying that today has maerked the bigining of the apocolposy. today the unded have come back and are not happy as you may see they are eating bieting other people and then they case others and do the same. if you are out of the city or going in I recomend you dont come and head back gather all you have and leave before you become one of these things. Thats all from me hope you survive much luck to all of you!"

"wait what the fuck!" we all screamed.

I decided to do it apocoliptic becaus theres hardley any of these on here.
there so good im going to use some of what I picked up on the othere books to make this one good and intresting.
