chapter 7

"Basically man are too stupid to understand what is going on and we'll there's more man than women right now so yea. It's kind of complicated." I said as I wiped my mouth with my sleeve. Alex looked at me confused. Jack looked like he was lost. Zack was normally quite and rian was as confused and as quite as Zack. I sighed.
"Like any normal government there's a president. As of right now it's a women named Karla. Karla has a daughter who was a Mrs.popular when she was in highschool she grew out of it tho. However her little sister is crazy. Short as skirts and shorts and literally only wears bras. Ok enough of that. The vice president only exists because we lost the president -when at that time it was a he- he tried to save some kids. He died in the process the kids made it out alive. He didn't turn. He was there meal. That's why we have a v.p. we also have a like Treasury and a runners. What the Treasury does is they help us know how much food we have and for how long before we have to stop and look for more. The runners are the brains of this. they halp us determine where we're headed."
"These are all controled by women and under women control?" Jack asked
"Yes they are jacks"
"Then there are the group that are mostly men and the only group were there's hardly any women. The hunters.  The reason why is because women need to stay behind to map and look everything out. Make food and clean around. Really everyone cleans there own space."
"Women should be in the kitchen and only in the kitchen that's what there made for." Jack said with an eyeroll.
"Shut up with your sexist coments or I'm going to throw you at the first zombie hoard we encounter. I'm not joking I almost did it to Michael for... Uh private reasons."
"That's true It was a horrible experience. Don't make her made jacks." Mixahel said
"Oh shit hell nah-"
"Don't curse jack!" Ashton shouted from his seat across the room.
"Well boys if your entreated in joining any of these groups feel free to do so. If you want to go back to the 4 of you it's ok for us." I said dismissing them.
"We have some people we have to go back for we left some boys with them 5 to be exact but we don't know how good there doing." Alex said
"Our families are there to and a group of people. We can go get them and then come back if that's alright?"
"Do you guys need men or are you guys on an your own?"
"N-"jack started but was cought of by Alex
"Maybe 2-4 would be good."
"Then it's set. When do you guys leave?"
"Tomorrow at sun rise."
"Ok I'll get the best man."
with that we all left the room and headed for lunch.

Alex's POV
I woke up got dressed and went down for breakfeast. I had No clue people Could survive this long with the way they were going. If we would have ignored them like jack said they would have died. It was Zacks idea to help them. We didnt know such good would come out of it. I thought as i walked down the staircase. I looked around It seemed deserted thats wierd? I took a look around finding no one I checked the rooms. Everyone was still asleep. I walked back into my room. Jack katy and Calum were both asleep. I shook katy awake.
"katy, Katy Katy wake up!"
"go away MIchael! its to early"
I groand at her thinking I was MIchael.
"Im Alex."
"Oh shit sorry I could care less abiut yor name I ony want to slep" she said he voice muffeled by the covers now over her head.
"Kate Can you wake up so me and the boys could leave?"
"Oh Yea blalh haf and hour please?"
I frowned whyis she acting like this? I sighed.
"Katy pleae?"
"Ok whatever alexander just give me a minute please? Can you atleaste give me a cold water boattle?"
"ok But only if you wake up?"
"yes Im getting up." She said as she sat uprigth on the bed and yawned.
"Ill be right back!"
"I wonder If theres anyone out there."
"What do you mean?"
"Yea like do you think anybody else out there is alive?"
"There has to be survivors."
"What if there all infected?"
"There has to be hope you know."
"we heared that there was a Center for survivors up ahead Maybe a few towns up. We have gone to a couple but there all infected. Atleast that's what we thought because. When we checked the houses. There were survivors. My brother found his friends. Joshua, Alex, Aaron, Diana, Giselle, and Yamilith. He hopes he can find more soon"
"Have you found any of your friends?"
"No old friends or from a long time ago from when I was In elementery school?"
"Yea"
"Only a couple."
"I found MIa, Diana, Ariana, Lizbeth, David, carolina, and thats it they were hiding in our elementery school" She said and laughed.
"The rest were people I didnt like. My whole class was there actually."
"So who was that?"
"Omar, Danille, Deliliah, Giovanni, Isabel, vannesa, LaMarc, Raul, Mikey, Alex, and Eduardo."
"wait so the same Alex from your class was friends with your brother?" I was a bit confused there
"No no my brothers friends fulln name is Alejandro. My classmates is Alexander."
"Oh ok"I replied.
"So al lot of them were people you didnt like?"
"Yea" She rpelied with a sigh.
"ok ill go get the water boattle you wanted."
"mm Thanks Alex"
"sure Katy"

"It's time to say good bye than?"
"Yea I said to Katy"
"That was fast."
"Sure was!"
"take care Alex"
"Ok cat" she had let me call her that.
"By lex"
She gave me a quick hug and than moved on to say her good byes to the rest of the boys.
"Hey mate"
"hey"
"Time for you to go huh?"
'yea"
"I see you made a friend during your 3 days here."
"Yea I did She's pretty nice"
"sure is. Very pretty to"
"Mate Are you all over her?"
"Uh I have a bit of a uh crush on 'er"
"Man Calum!"
"Your growin' up huh?"
"Im Sixteen?"
"She fifteen! How long have you liked her?"
"Since we were 13...or 10?"
"Man you've liked her for 3-6 years and havent got the Time to ask her out?"
"Ive been wanting to but I cant find the right time."
"Well you better hurry up because A serten someone wants her badly jsut like you." I said pointing my head to a boy I didnt no yet. He was drooling.
"Fucker wont leave her alone."
"Name"
"Isac"
"mm Act fast calum"
"Ill see"
"want to see yall toghter when we come back." I said and smirked at him
"um Uh how about when you guys come bake?"
"Ok Fine Ill make the dead line."
"Ok"
"Ight then asian boi. Start your lines."
"What?"
"Yeah what your gonna say to ask her out."
"Oh"
"Have you ever had a girlfriend before?"
"No-yea-no?"
"what?"
"Like they we fake dated to get someone else toghter."
"Oh ok"
"Time to go boys" jack said.
"Ight see you later Calum."
"Bye Alex"
"Bye"
"what were you guys talking about?"
"Nothing Imprtant."I said as I put my hands in my front pockets only leaving my thumbs out.
"Yeah yeah your nothing fun" he said rolling his eyes and getting up on the truck we brought with us. He offered me a hand however I declined and went up in my own. However im very clumsy and fell stright on my back. I heared laughter and I turned to see Katy, Calum, Ashton and Michael laughing there heads off. I looked up and there was Jack laughing to. I groande And got up form the ground. Jack offered me a hand however the second I was about to take it He moved it again and I fell once again. More laughther came and this time. Zack and rian helped me up.
"Thanks boys" I said and glared at Jack who was still laughing.
"time to go boys" Mason A guy Katy had sent with us said.
"Lets go"
I turned and we waved at everyone.
"Bye Alex Bye Zack Bye Rian, By JAcky" They all said.
Jack flipped them off. we all lauhged. I looked towrds calum.
"HURRY UP CALUM" I Shouted. He had a face that read WTF on it. I laughed and turned around. TH=hey all had a confused face.
"Dont worry about it boys" I said and walked away form them.
